Wtf?! This wasn’t a pre trip inspection at all. DOT requires you to check the tires, the lug nuts, the slack adjusters and s-cams. You have to do a spring brake set test, a spring brake release test, a power brake holding test! You have to test the low air pressure alarm and the spring brake “pop” pressure. You have to perform a spring brake holding test both in drive and reverse! And if you don’t have a DOT certified shop then you also have to check all of your fluids!! I pray you aren’t a driver if you think this is a pre trip inspection!!

@busdriver7123 Yeah, they sure imagine all the buses we used to have We have 3800's CE's Bluebirds. We even had a Non Electronically controlled DT466 Engine buses at one point
@@Dcsbuslegend Prentiss county where I was last year used to have a ton of variety, every body manufacturer from the 90’s on mostly international chassis, but had a lot of different chassis from the early 2000’s. They moving towards 100% IC now though. The district I’m with this year has a mix of IC and Bluebird, but they’re moving towards all BB now.
They need to add that to southline district

What a rarity! Has to be super annoying to have to reach over that door handle to reach the key and other switches though.
