Today I'll be showing you how to squeeze a bit of extra power out of your S650 Mustang by removing the carbon traps.

(Disclaimer: The current public release of for scan doesn't currently support the 2024 vehicles. A warranty is important to most people. If you’re going to void it. At least make actual gains.

Why not ? Its a " emissions device".... the dealers CAN NOT work on vehicles with emissions tampering, be smarter and just get a set of intake tubes to gut out....besides its a unmeasurable difference...

The premium comes with a lot more than just some light sequencing 😂

Is there a setting like this you could change for automatics so that the DRL’s don’t turn off while in park?
Does this allow you to unlock any audio unit features? Like how dodge locks the nav or sat radio with software.
Potentially. Depends on what you’re trying to do. The Nav and satellite is a physical difference in these cars. You could probably swap antennas and then unlock it with forscan

@@Subarashii-naniii the dark horse has amber in the sequence. The premium is only white.
Is there an option for the taillights to do a welcome dance?
so does this void any warranty or do anything weird to the car? i really want to do this to my base s650, i have the scan tool on the way already. probably will end up doing it no matter what but wanted to hear from you since youve done it already.

I don’t see anyway it could void warranty. But I could be wrong. Worst comes to worst, just set it back to stock and they won’t know

Forscan just released a new version a day or 2 ago, does this new version support the 2024 Mustangs now?
I have noticed with testing. I have the Dark Horse approach Lighting in the front and in the tail lights (since I already have the premium) but if I use remote start. the tail lights do the approach lighting effect but notthe front. What section would I need to put back to default to enable it for when I use remote start as well?
I have a 2024 GT Premium. On cars w/ manual transmissions it shows what gear it's in on the left side of the instrument cluster. Is there anyway to add that to a car equipped with an automatic? I think the dash looks empty without something on that side. Thank you!

Yes, in the IPC theres an option for “continuous gear display” enable that.

The numbers that appear to me are different than yours. I have an E as the final letter and an 8 in the last box in the LDCMB Does that affect anything?

That black piece that you took out is important. It is used to help the MAF sensor read more accurately and help fuel trims. It is called an air straightener because it lowers air flow turbulence. The car will run much smoother with it, especially at partial throttle. I used to use them

I took mine out there's no problem no check engine light, and I have been watching the air fuel ratio. It's fine also. The car will adjust. But I have noticed it is louder, and throttle response is much, much Tighter and faster
@Division_Agent_ Yeah, the car will run without it. I do agree on charcoal removal, but the air straightner isn't really causing restrictions. The accordion hose they use causes more flow disturbance than the air straightner haha. I'm not saying it's needed, but it does help MAF sensor, keeps the car from running car leaner. Not a big deal though as mentioned.
@supermazda3 Yeah, the air straightener on this vehicle can be deleted without any negative effects, even in the MAF sensor readings (im plugged up via OBD2). Not only is everyone removing it(we would of heard something by now), but even big-name companies are deleting it all together. My K&N intake system tubes on my 24 Mustang GT also the Whipple supercharger intake doesn't have it (it does have the traps along the wall of the intake to comply with government regulations). Not all cars are built the same, but this one does not need it at all

Great video and no offense meant.. But if power was the same wouldn't you rather have just one air box and 1 MAF to deal with? Don't misunderstand me that car is beautiful. They are growing on me.. The twin throttle body looks cool but to me it's like a more money more problem situation, like an extra point of failure. And parts are not cheap but anyway looks great have fun and good luck..
I agree completely haha. I had a 19’ coyote abt a year ago and was completely happy with it lol. I actually like the look of the s550 much more. Especially the rear end and interior. A perfect example of the dual throttle body being useless to me is that VMPs supercharger kit for them switched to one big throttle body

Yes. I think I put it in the description. You have to email them with your vin. Then they’ll send you a test version for our cars 👍🏻
@@WynneSikorski ready i got the test version.. they said if it dont read the car to send them the vin# ... thanx for the help..wondering if we can put the 180mph dark horse speedo.. the spreed sheet had the configure.

Thanks for the video. Someone mentioned that when you lock the car they stay on is thar correct? Also i wonder if there’s a setting to make the DRL’s amber.
they do, if you put a 2 or 3 where I put the nine. then they'll stay on for a solid few minutes. Now for amber DRLs, im really not sure. ill try and dig into that tmr and let you know.

@@5point0anthony57sorry for the confusion. If you put a “9” in the bottom box they won’t stay on. They will act just like oem darkhorse or premium.
