Materials: Primary fluid, Clutch compression kit, clutch plates, Oil pan, 1/2 5/8 7/8 wrench, T27 bit, Allen keys (imperial), Phillips head, towel Optional materials: Drill (highly recommended), new gasket, new seals, pliers (if you're unlucky), water

Yoo, it’s really nice to hear about your experience! I’m currently saving up for my first bike (I’m looking into getting a cruiser/Yamaha DragStar 650 or Honda Shadow). As someone who has never had experiences with motorcycles, it’s honestly kinda daunting and scary(?), but it’s something I really want to get into. I’m currently in college and working a part-time job, and hearing about your similiar experiences has given me a bit more confidence and excitement to own one myself! :)
Please be very careful. It's absolutely daunting and scary, but the freedom and joy is very worth it. Nothing on the road feels better than being on two wheels. You'll have to learn a lot about maintenance too, but you'll be a better person by the end of it :) Best of luck!

How do wet clutxhes create friction with oil between the discs
When the clutch is engaged, the plates are pushed together. This not only presses the plates together for more contact, but it also pushes the oil out from between the plates.

Mine failed on me at 16k miles, put in an energy one extra plate kit and felt like a whole new bike with how smooth the shifting was
