Our video installation HELDEN for the Designers Saturday 2018 was awarded the GRAND PRIX. The presentation does not focus on our famous glass side table "Bell Table" as a finished product, but on the workers of the glass manufactory with their dedication and passion. The Bell Table is a masterwork of traditional craftsmanship. We show the production process in an old glass manufacture, established in 1568 in the Bavarian Forest. The film shows the production of the BRICK SCREEN, an elaborate masterpiece of hand craftsmanship in lacquer and wood. Designed by Eileen Gray between 1922-1925 it is today produced by ClassiCon - authorised by The World Licence Holder, Aram Designs Ltd., London.
