The Scottish Psalter version
Psalm 116:13-19
13 I'll of salvation take the cup,
on God's name will I call:
14 I'll pay my vows now to the Lord
before his people all.
15 Dear in God's sight is his saints' death.
16 Thy servant, Lord, am I;
Thy servant sure, thine handmaid's son:
my bands though didst untie.
17 Thank-off'rings I to thee will give,
and on God's name will call.
18 I'll pay my vows now to the Lord
before his people all.

Psalm 130 acapella in parts 1:38 1:49
Amazing
In tears by the 5th word.
Beautifully sung words of scripture. Thank you
Wonderful, authentic voices singing to God
I'm absolutely in love with this. Does this particular congregation have more recordings? Is there a resource with a collection of these melodies with the sheet music for 1 part chanting?
This is so moving, thank you
BEAUTIFUL.
Curious as to what "to Ottawa" indicates?
@Moireach91 How do I contact you? I've search the web, to no avail. Your "about" page lacks an email. They do cover it up so bots can't get it. 🙂
Hi. I created an alias e-mail account that should work. praises_02sunrise@icloud.com
What psalter are you using
This one is Sing Psalms. The words are in the description of this video.
Thank you for ushering us in the precence of the Holiies in worship. Greetings from Kuwait
Glory to God.
What a blessing. Thank you for taking the time to post this.
I don't think I've ever heard the whole psalm sung. ruclips.net/video/0Cf-N_ZS96I/видео.html

Thanks for posting this. Beautiful tune and neat metric rendering.
Thanks for this!
I wish there were more of these!
Thanks for posting these! Very good to find Psalms online
Precioso! No me imagino cantar esto cuando estemos delante del Señor
Love love love the Psalms
The sweetest far of Scotia's holy lays: Compar'd with these, Italian trills are tame; The tickl'd ears no heart-felt raptures raise; Nae unison hae they, with our Creator's praise......From scenes like these, old Scotia's grandeur springs That makes her lov'd at home, rever'd abroad.
with words would be awesome to be able to sing along..please?
Hi, the words are in the description.
was play while signing the register at my wedding in 79 was played at my wife funeral in 2000 and at mine when the time comes
Beautiful singing and words
I love the authenticity of the psalms being sung like this. I came to faith on the Island of Lewis and I’m sure that God’s word pouring over me played a big part in this. I’m now relishing singing along in English. Thank you David Murray for posting these on RUclips.
I can’t get enough of these traditional psalms. I came to faith on the Isle of Lewis through hearing the psalms sung a Capella with a precentor.
I absolutely love this psalm tune. Wish we sang it in our churches
Dowanvale Free Church, Glasgow. Presbyterian.
Now I know where the church music I grew up with came from. Welcome from the church of Christ Killeen, Tx.
Much better than the modern garbage that’s called worship.
That's not the bay's of harris
The world is loosing the ability to forgive, and with this it is loosing the ability to confess sins. How wonderful it is that the Holy Spirt convicts me of my sins, motivates me to confess these sins to God in prayer, seeking forgiveness in Jesus Christ. How can one not be moved by the singing of psalms with such a powerful message.
What a beautiful motive! Does Anybody know where I can find an instrumental version of it/ the theme? Thanks 😊

Greetings from S.E. Ireland. Heavenly rendition of this psalm. Buíochas libh go léir. Thank you all. Have been to Harris.
Gives me goose bumps ! What a beautiful sound
Beautiful to sing the praises of the Lord. 😊
Praise the LIVING GOD. To all here who have the same Father as I do, I cannot wait to meet y'all, brothers and sisters. Listening to this makes my heart yearn for Heaven
Absolutely beautiful. Incredibly inspiring and yet suitably humbling at the same time. Thank you for that.
Grateful to be a member of a church that sings Psalms
Soul singing!
You may also read the "Present with Religion", a book for free on the Global Truth Project. The book is about the truth of life and it shows the full picture of life for the first time so that you may stop being deceived by the world and be able to follow the steps of Jesus and other prophets to Heaven.Knowing the truth is the key factor in our salvation. We must know the whole truth and live in it and change ourselved according to it in order to be saved. There is no other way to our salvation. With the knowledge of the real truth there comes true repentance which means changing our minds and there also comes true obediance to God's law and finally our sanctification which is a life- long process. And God in His mercy will give us His grace which is time and ability to make the proper change.Only in this way will we be able to attain our eternal salvation. We must find this narrow gate that leads to God and do it quickly and stay on it till the end no matter what. Then and only then will we be saved. There is nothing more important and serius to do in this fallen world.
Which psalter is being used
So beautiful
In the Lord our God we indeed seek refuge.
Very nice.
