Bench rested with a bipod and buried in shooting supports, to minimise the human input! This is no reflection on my shooting skills, moreover a demonstration of this budget guns abillity.

Just thought I'd upload a vid of a bit of plinking. Budget gun punching way above its weight. AA Fields .177 8.4 grain. MTC Mamba 46mts This is the UK restricted 12ftlbs version. I can only imagine what its like at FAC levels!

Tinbum Top Hat, spring guide and Washer set. Lubed with Nicks Molybdenum Bumslide The target is an rounded off 8mm nut welded on a bit of steel bar. 12.50mm dia. The coin I am holding is a 20p. 21.33 mm dia across the flats.

very nice shooting at 50 yards , it seems up there with my r10 and,aa 410 .177 guns ,am looking to buy a krall ,just like the look of these ,but worred about accuracy ,this seems to prove all ok ,thanks for review

Getting harder to find hw80k
How does the standard firing cycle compare to the HW80?.
Effectively, the 35 is just a short stroked 80. However, It has a faster lock time as the piston isn't travelling as far. I prefer accuracy to power, so I reduce the power down to about 10ftlbs. This dramatically reduces recoil and makes the guns a joy to shoot. Take it up to near the legal limit makes it quite harsh in .177. IMO The 80 is horrible at the legal limit in .177,

Hi. I think I've stripped the fast gear in the gearbox. I've pulled the top off and took the motor off. Do you know how I access the gearbox?
Are you sure the speed selector knob on the side is turned fully home to either slow or fast? I would have thought the plastic gear would have sheared long before the gearbox. Just a thought.

@@marmac567 hi. Yes they are plastic. Requires a strip down to replace them. I haven't done it yet
How do you find the 80 in .177?
The 80 in its untuned format is a tad harsh, due to that massive piston imparting its energy in recoil. I've since lightened the piston and taken off the preload on the mainspring by heating up 2 coils and squashing them. Its absolutely fab in.177 now.

Hi Neil, yes I have found your video useful.I have recently acquired a second hand WM 16 VS with dro fitted. It is in immaculate condition and I'm just starting to use it in anger. I had heard some rumours that the plastic transmission gears were a bit frail and a belt and pulley conversion is the best solution. Now I know the rumours are fact I'll prepare to fit a belt drive kit. That is really poor of Warco to expect you to wait that length of time for spares. One would think they would have had better replacent parts made by a local engineering company as they know there is weakness in the OEM gears. Acetal bar looks quite a favourable plastic to make replacements from... Howard.
