Hey glad you found these guys. They are a terrific band. The vocals sounding down in the mix are due to the new iPhone mics. They vocals were fine live. The mics are so sensitive that when standing close to the stage they will pick up more guitar straight from the amps and kinda drown out the vocals. If the PA speakers are more to the side it diminishes the quality of the overall sound. One of the unfortunate side effects of being too close. Looks great though!
We were there too... mix was perfect in the club. Like already stated, vocals come through the monitors toward the band and out the main PA speakers. Hard to capture with a phone mic with all the on stage amp/drum volume. These guys are soooo damn good!!!

@@ogmetalprophet yes, big fan of Kyuss and Qotsa. But it was the studio version of this song that I was hoping to find some info on. I saw one rig run down from Josh and he explained beautifully that he likens his pedalboard to a spice rack and he can't give away his secret spices. So much talent. Love Garcia.

Ffs doom bands like this always have impeccable live sound, reminds me of bands like Barren Altar and Un absolutely filling a room while all the other bands those nights were just noisy.
