I don't understand why didn't you look for your son earlier. I personally couldn't live with my self knowing i have a child out ther .😢😢😢😢😢
I am glad he found his parents. He is copy of his mother also the eyes a bit like his mother. God bless them
This is a wonderful story! Shane looks a lot like his biological father. He looks a lot like one of his sisters, Elisha, as well.
i was adopted... stolen really by the welfare ppl. as i'm native ,,, during the '60's over 100,000 babies where taken and put up fer adoption ... it is called the , 60's scoop ... i always new i was adopted and where i was from ... it took 28 yrs to finally find out info due to a mistake by a temp office worker who gave my wife all this info ...finally met my mother fer whom i fer yrs. thought had died ... found out i had 4 living uncles and a few aunties .... i'll let it stay here but the story is way more lol congrats on your new journey
And she could’ve been encouraged to abort baby by places like Planned Parenthood but thankfully has done the right thing for a child to grow up and be such a good person.
No one should have to give your child away. I understand it happens. But stop going on about selfishness. That is a two way street and it was not like she was living in a ditch.
Been watching your video of you and your birth parent reuniting …🤗🕊🤍🕊🤗 for many years Can NOT put into words the JOY and genuine HAPPINESS ..I feel that un LOVE & God the HOLY TRINITY brought you & birth family TOGETHER again in HIS WISDOM .. AMEN 🕊✝️🕊 Enjoy never LET GO 🕯🕊🕯 of this infinite BLESSING GLORY to GOD 🤍🕊🤍
Cause my mom was in high school at the time and at back then parents either kept the child quit their job for a few years or give it away for adoption and it was more popular and common but when I was born it wasn’t as common and people are more likely not to give their kids up for adoption now.
The parents look at him with such a complete love, my heart.... ❤️
Dad is one happy man!!
lovely people and story
Such a beautiful story ❤️
What a wonderful story! ♥️
What a beautiful story ❤😊
My bio ma closed adopted me cuz I wasn't born perfect. There was no love involved. Then I was adopted by abusers. This is the common story of most of us adoptees. Adoption is a way to get a meal ticket and punching bag wrapped up into one.

Amazing people
Wow, if you're the same man I think you are you sure put them through a lot. Seems Heavenly Father brought you back. Blessings.
The youngest son is salty because he got the short end of the genetics. He starts to talk about himself but nobody is listening to him. He’s thinking will he ever be as good looking as Shane? Maybe not, should he run away, perhaps.
What?!
Such a beautiful and loving reunion.
This country will punish u more heavily for financial crimes versus murder. nutz.60yrs? thats wild
So sad....A state judge has sentenced a Layton man to six prison terms arising out of a $14 million investment and real estate loan scheme that included a pitch for money to fund a reality TV show. Judge James Blanch sentenced Dwight Shane Baldwin, 35, on Thursday, May 26 in 3rd District Court to six terms of 1 to 15 years at the Utah State Prison, four to be served consecutively - meaning he could be in prison for four to 60 years, court documents show. In return for dismissal of eight other charges, Baldwin had pleaded guilty to four counts of securities fraud, one count of theft and one count of engaging in a pattern of unlawful activity. The latter two sentences are to be served concurrently with the others.
Wonderful story! I had a DNA test done. My father never knew where we came from. So I wanted to find out so my daughter and Grandson would know exactly where they came from. Well what I did not expect is finding a sister. He was adopted in N.C. but than was given up to someone in Texas. She really wanted to meet her parents. But they had already passes. Than though DNS I help a cousin find her mother and father. They were both still alive.
That shop owner needs to be slapped across the face. Twice. I cried for 16 year old her being admonished for her selfless gift of giving him up. The pain they had for their entire lives is just so unnecessary. They suffered unnecessarily for making the right decisions.
No DNA test required. The family resemblance is remarkable.
Now he has 2 lovely families or 1 very big family
Many don't know, and those who do don't necessarily like to talk about it for fear of promoting something that can be harmful in most circumstances for other reasons, but one of your advantages in having a father who was that young at the time is that the number of genetic errors passed on to you is about as low as it possible for them to be. They increase quite dramatically with age, even between 16 and 22 in the literature. In a society in which it is common to have older fathers than in previous generations, it is only reasonable that we have increasing rates of diseases with genetic causation or correlation.
LDS adoption is a profit-making industry, don't care about family reunions. Good luck.
Your bigotry is showing
I'm so glad they got to be together again. ❤ Rhonda
Is this the Shane Baldwin of silverleaf financial?
Wonderful
I must have watched this video 50 times and still I will not get bored watching it so such a great story
He looks like his father. All parties did the right thing. I am so glad they chose to give him life and a chance.
In a world so full of abortion, you should feel proud when you put up for adoption. I always found it puzzling to see people get so regretful over adoption while others glorify there abortions. Your lending yourself to a child for 9 months so they may atleast live, and you do so selflessly knowing you may never see the rewards that come from being the childs mother.
This decision is not always like it gets presented here. There are SO MANY kids out there who never get adopted. Never know what it is to have a mom, a dad or be loved. You have to also think about that as well. Not just play the martyrdom sindrome
Smh🙄. This is about THIS family
They can twist everything the way they want to and make good sounding excuses but the fact of the matter is ;” How the hell you give your flesh and blood away to someone else?”
It's a selfless act to give up your child so they can have what you can't give them.
He looks like Dad and dad is mesmerized by that son. Mom is so so cute. Now they are one special family.
The sadder part of these stories is how they separated. Sometimes out of need, other times out of vindictiveness and hate.
I hope you found him. Life is too short. Do AncestryDNA OR 23 & Me. I was blessed with great parents (adopted) and I’ve knew my birthmother for 35 yrs before she passed. I love my birthfamily and 3 half sisters and 3 half brothers. My birthfather passed before I met him.
That was a great family
Shane, Adoption is good/great if the people who would adopt would love the child unconditionally because I read a lot of adoption with so much abuse.
💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Rape has CONSEQUENCES
What a blessing testimony, our Father in Heaven is An Awesome God! May God bless you all. Bigggg Huggggggies from my heart. I am 64 not able to meet or know anything my biological parents, but at the same time I give thanks to God for my parents they give me love, they taught me about Jesus Christ, I miss them day by day.
I totally respect it! But I wouldn’t do it…
Awoke.
Would love a follow up. This was such an inspiring story.
On the contrary .parents should raise their children.a child needs his mum and dad.emotionally he will never recover.depriving your child of your genuion real affection is a crime.
On the contrary, an adopted child has a mom and dad. Two of my children are adopted and they are happy, healthy adults. We have loved them every moment since we met them and they have siblings and a family they will always be a part of. No one should deny a child there love and care they are simply unable to provide
Doesn't God make this story better?!
Hello Jenan. How are you doing today?
Adoption is a good thing. But it needs to be revamped.. include the birth parents.. it's 2022.. no shame in anything, anymore...
