Hand to Hand Combat Training Center
США
Добавлен 5 окт 2015
“The H2HCTC is the most unique training center for Martial Arts in the world. And Koden Kan Combined Martial Arts is the most complete and thorough system of Martial Arts you will find anywhere. We are a faith-based family training center where our students eventually over time become part of our family." ~ Professor Michael M. Foley
The Hand to Hand Combat Training Center teaches a combined Martial Art called Koden Kan. The students may learn a Karate block followed by a Judo sweep followed by a Jiujitsu arm lock and ending with a Kajukenbo dropping knee strike, all combined into one self-defense technique. Many consider our style a mix of traditional Martial Arts and American Hand to Hand Combat.

why she does all the takedowns? that's so lame.
Looks Dangerous, This is pretty brave of Brian Crain to take this up.
Gotta protect myself from those crazy fans ☺
@@29briancrain I hope I am not one of them haha your instructor looks fierce in that other video too he has those eyes haha. But I can understand why you have taken this up. The streets are not safe.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Would like to see a sparring match with protection against an Arnis player with a chalked rubber knife to see who gets the most combos.
We also have Escrima (Arnis) techniques in our Sinko-Set Escrima classes. We would do something different if the person had an escrima and is trained in escrima.
Michael Floyd ❤❤❤❤big up more brother i wish meet, and welcome Tanzania my country ❤❤❤❤✨💪
I watch a lot of MMA I highly doubt he could pull this stuff off in real life
Hmmm
Professors Foley's kickboxing record disagrees with your assessment
There’s a video on RUclips that has 4 or 5 TRAINED MMA fighters in a competition pitted (individually) against a “knife man” in a simulated attack using a maker-pen knife. Every single one of them suffers what would have been fatal injuries. Also, the test didn’t account for a tail off in the fighters ability to defend themselves due to the stab wounds they were suffering as the fighting went on…. In the real world, the chances of defending yourself - unarmed - against a determined stab attacker are virtually zero. There’s a saying amongst Doormen: “a shower never stabs and a stabber never shows…” ruclips.net/video/t69XMB-PINM/видео.htmlsi=uR2AcG6XIi8v2G58
Thanks for your feedback. I saw that video and it all depends on the attacker, how they attack and the techniques used for defense. Not all techniques work for all attacks but we try to be prepared for as much as possible.
Professor I have to say your system is well versatile. I have been watching alot of your videos I notice its your personality that brings your art together . Keep doing what your doing.
Thank you very much for your kind words! I appreciate your support.
This is badass 😎
For the field goal kick we hit it with the shin or whatever part we use to hit with it
No comment,
These are some good techniques for self defense
beautiful.
You should do a sped up version. Like it's a worst case sinario
Gotta do it right before you do it fast…
మీరు నా పూర్వీకులను కించపరిచారు
Any videos on youtube on your system of koden kan karate?
@@THEMARTIALARTSCHANNEL-bb4fxYes. We have a tab called partner techniques on our RUclips page where instructors walk you through our beginner level self defense moves against various kinds of attacks.
looks really hard to understand
We teach it in steps and build up speed over time. Thanks for your comment
None of them... maybe the little asian woman but still its not like super impressively strong
thanks for the engagement :)
2nd one. What’s with the camo?
Thanks for your vote. The uniforms are a inexpensive and practical for our style. Lots of throws and controls as well as katas. The digital greens uniforms are for green rank and below, the brown are for brown ranks and the black is for black belts. We like them better than the Japanese Gi
cool
Why not go for an arm bar ?
@@allahuakbar4217 sometimes it’s best to find an alternative that doesn’t get you tied up, especially if there’s more than one guy.
They seem to be doing the same technique for every technique 🤔
Your are correct. They are demonstrating how an escrima technique can be use with knife or empty hand
Thats awesome and hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣
@@NotStrayGaming13 they are quite a team
I like training like this all the time but in my city this ain't happening they be grabbing the bear mace
That's really impressive! Congrats!
Thanks for the kind words!
Coming along nicely!
thank you
That second of hesitation could cost you your life
yeah, he's got to smooth that out. Pretty good otherwise
So cool!!!
Excellent self-defense technics. Practice is certainly a necessity.
Yes, repetitive training is your best friend in the martial arts. But learn to make it enjoyable too.
Better than Bob Jackson's knife defense classes.
Thank you. I'm a 32 year veteran of the US Army serving most of it in SOCOM (Special Operations Command) and learned from some of the best. I also add quite a bit from Sinko-Set Escrima. A good mix...
If you have no knife what do you do. You have vdo for this
The course has many unarmed techniques also.
It’s always the videos with the lowest views that are the best. Nice job🔥😎
Thank you very much. Did you share with your friends so it's not the one with the fewest views? (hint, hint) Yeah, it was pretty awesome working with the "guys" over in the Stans. I have many fantastic memories of all of the hard working soldiers, Marines, Airmen, and Sailors. Oh yeah, and contractors. Did you also come to my Cardio Kickboxing class on Tues, Thurs, and Sat? You know, I also wrote my second novel in my off time while stationed there. No rest for the weary. Usaah!!
Foley Is the real deal! I took his H2H combat class in college some years ago. 100% useful techniques and highly recommend taking his actual course!
Thanks for the kind words! We do try to help people actually learn useful techniques. We're getting ready to begin filming a new updated H2HC self-defense training program soon.
Its good to see you are still teaching! I trained with you and your school when you were on main St. My youngest daughter wants me to teach her what I had learned with you and over the years I have struggled to remember but with these videos it comes back. I had the privilege of having that time of training and personal guidance you gave me and it has been a pivotal point in shaping my life. I pray god blesses you and your family
It's great to hear from the "old days" students! I am very happy to hear you are trying to teach your daughter these important life skills. Keep it up.
17:44 SOUND ISSUE !!!
Yeah, I know. That's why we are starting to film a new version of this course. It will be offered on the same site as the knife fighting course. Keep looking for it. We have new equipment and a clip on mic.
Im 56 years old and i still train. I like it that is no belt system
Keep looking at our training sites as we are doing updated videos with new applications. They're pretty cool...

Thanks for watching!
Great video. Great school👍🏾🫶
Thanks, we put a lot of effort into what we do for people. We are now trying to reach out to more on-line students all across the country. Check out our on-line store where we sell awesome full fledged courses in martial arts. We're just getting started...
IT'S TRACER FROM WMAC.
I loved being on that show! It was so much fun working with all of those serious martial artists. Hey, if any WMAC guys are reading this reach out, I'd like to catch up. (Yeah you Tiger Claw!)
@@handtohandcombattrainingce3434 There is a book called "Quest For The Dragon Star", by Kristopher Landis. He goes into as much detail as possible about the show. Real fanboy moment here. Godspeed.
Sir Michael Floyd I like your training bro ❤
Love Stick combat systems. I began training in Kali back in the mid 80's. I just happened onto your channel and found your school system. Enjoyed watching and would enjoy more conversation. I live in Indiana and have been in martial arts for 45 years and going strong. I have a few stick videos on my channel and always appreciate critique of my skills or lack thereof. Although I have trained in many systems Kali, MMA, Jujitsu and Aikido has taken most of my time these last 45 years.
Wow, awesome! Yeah I've been swingin' sticks since 1977 when I was stationed in the Army in Hawaii. Sinko-Set Escrima is a mixture of Arnis, Kali, and other Escrima styles. I have 3 students who achieved Black Belt separately in Escrima and 2 more who are training right now for their test. They are all Black Belts in my martial arts system called Koden Kan already just wanting to add to their arsenal of self-defense skills. We love it...
Wmac masters michael Foley
Loved doing that show as Tracer! We had so much fun!!
I don't know who told you this is Tai Chi but this is wrong , so wrong It's hilarious I have been studying Wudang for 14 years and I am a certified instructor of CQC This is total dogshit Better if learning Zhang San Feng Tai Chi sword You could learn it in a few weeks This is nonsense , total dog shit Tai Chi is supposed to be about artistic expression All your moves are done wrong from Ward Off To a simple Press Just learn the 8 Gates of Tai Chi it's really simple to learn and is the bases of all tai chi
What happens on the street,if someone doesn't know these move and attacks you with different movements?
You adapt to what they do. That is the essence of martial art training
Good teaching Mr Senseii ?
Thank you very much! I've been teaching martial arts for more than 50 years so it's nice to hear positive reactions. Usaah!!
I teach martial arts, and we use the arch kick in our academy. I like to offer my students videos as well as in-class instruction, and it was *very* difficult to find a video that showed arch kick done well. So I was glad to find your video. Thank you.
Awesome! I really like the effectiveness of that kick as well! I'm glad you got some use out of it. If you would like to see other strong self-defense tools in video form, just let me know and I'll try my best to get that out to you. Always ready to help people learn to protect themselves and their families. Also to support other schools and teachers in their quest for the same.
I thought it’s going to be six videos
Yeah, supposed to be. It's an old one so some may have been lost. We are preparing to start a new training video to update the course. Keep looking for it.
@@handtohandcombattrainingce3434you have them hidden int the playlist, the other 3 videos, can you unhide please?
Is this kenpo techniques? Oss👍👍👌👌👊👊🥊🥊🥋🥋🙏🙏
Actually, our system is called Koden Kan Combined Martial Arts and we have many forms and styles incorporated in it. Hawaiian Kajukenpo and Kenpo Chuan Fa are two of them. Good eye... If your arms are shorter, we have many more techniques to use. You can always be prepared with good training.
Great to see him getting a black belt
That's his Escrima Black Belt. He is also a Ni-Dan (Second Degree Black Belt) in Koden Kan Martial Arts.
Looks dangerous O_O don't break his arm he won't be able to make beautiful music.
This is amazing
