Derby's route 44 filmed over a number of years from the front seat on the top deck of various buses between the Morledge and the Blue Peter in Alvaston; it includes the old bus station (complete with the caravan on its roof), the Cock Pit island around the Riverside Car Park, the bus pull-in at the railway station, and the Lebanese Cedar which stood for many years by the Raynesway island.
It follows the original route via Station Approach, the revised route via Siddals Road after the bus gate was created, and the diversion through Pride Park whilst London Road railway bridge was being rebuilt
