Wash Table & Pressure Washer Setup - Ideas For Your Garden & Farm
Just pick the beans and leave the plants for multipol harvests.
What a great harvest -- and I love that jazzy music!
So what is the grid system or did I miss that explanation?
We made a video explaining more in depth. If you go to our channel and select videos, it can be found there.
I learned nothing from this guy's yappin', but his lady has a nice booty.
I see this is old just Install an Easy Start in your big AC compressor and don't worry about shutting anything off. You want to look for( LRA) Lock Rotor Amps on your AC compressors label that's what amps it takes to start the unit. Even if you don't own this geny anymore an Easy Start is the way to go. It will add years to your compressors life and has a diagnostic app so an AC guy won't rip ya off when the Easy Start says its just a bad capacitor.
Thanks for sharing
Thank you for posting the video. I have this exact same generator and was able to run the following simultaneously : my Heat Pump (Trane - highest end-cost ~$24M), all 120 volt house circuits, a single (small) stove element,) total 5076 watts, 22.5 amps. I am very reluctant to run my heat pump because of the +/-23% THD and would not have purchased this particular unit had I researched and known the specs beforehand, but definitely would purchase a Westinghouse (their customer service is amazing).
Thanks for sharing!
Don't pull them up and remove the root systom . Clip them off at the top of the ground and leave the roots in . That way your not removing the nitrigon from the soil .
Love my Wgen11500TFc running on natural gas. No worrying about refilling the tank every hours and constant trips to the gas station. It puts out the same exact watts as this generator on gas, but the THD is <5%. It's around 23% for this generator.
Wow, only 5% THD? I have been debating on the 9500, 10500, or 11500 tri-fuel to run on natural gas, and this comment is great to see. Can I hook it right up to my BBQ NG hookup in the backyard?
Did you have a soft start installed on your house ac unit thanks in advance
No. We do not have soft starters installed on any of the air conditioning. I discuss how we avoided using soft starts at about 40 seconds into the video. Hope that helps!
@@thehillbillyfarmers yes definitely thank you
Where in SW VA? I was born in Roanoke. Like your presentation.
hot damn that’s a thick boy! what verity of zucchini is it?
Italian Striped Zucchini. The nice thing about this verity is that the seeds are small even when the fruit gets vary large.
Where it’s the zucchini?
There is one at about 0:15 in the video
Lost connection to the router! We started streaming again though.
Storms in the vicinity for this one. It causes our internet to have some issues, but it's good overall for our needs.
Thanks for this video. We have this generator but an electrician said it would not power our ac or our house. We live in a 1700 sq ft manufactured home. Ac/Heat are what we are concerned about. We have a gas range. From everything I have seen or read this should work for us.
We have this generator and our electrician said adding a soft starter to AC would make it work with this unit.
Yeah, you just need a soft start. Buy any brand, but Micro-Air. They are putting out junk now and cost more than the others.
Don’t mind the haters 👍🏻💯
Just seems like a lot of wasted potential for the plants to keep producing. I pick every day or two and I get plenty for supper meals constantly as well as when the hottest season passes I will get my “fall harvest” crop for preservation hopefully.
Good video. I have the Igen10500 Tri fuel and while using propane was able to run a 4 ton AC along with house lights, two refrigerators and a freezer. I plan on getting my house set up with a natural gas connection to have a continuous fuel source. Looking back I wish I would’ve punches the igen11500 Tri fuel, because it produces cleaner power and would produce a little more power.
How do you know the igen11500 Tri fuel produces cleaner power? I am trying to decide on the size to get, 9500 or 11500. I want something that won't fry my laptop.
Look for low THD less than 6. Total harmonic distortion. IGEN 11500.
I love this video
I disk several times then I take 50 pound bag . And throw handfuls for 1000 foot rows 30 foot wide. Done in an hour
Waaaaal good harvest the benefit of hard working 💪💪 💪👏👏👏❤❤❤
It must be nice to live in a warm climate. I have to harvest my green beans throughout the summer and pick and pick and pick, but it is wonderful to have the many harvests through summer.
Sorry for your loss. I look forward to what you 2 are doing to grow your farm, keep your chins up. You two can do it! I've seen a lot of young farmers like you two make a great success of their farms. I'm sure its not easy, good luck this season with your growing. I'm just north of you, just outside our nations capital in zone 7b.
Sorry, you probably have a lot of beans that are overripe and too many that are too small, I’ll continue my way picking every few days
But you only get 1 pickin . I don’t like it sorry
How would a combination of harvesting techniques work ? Plant a 18 inch grid , then pull up a line of plants , leaving a row to hand pick for a 2nd harvest ?
Sounds like a good idea!
did you direct seed or put in seedlings?
We direct seed the green beans.
You could offset the next planting. There are tools for regenerative agriculture to deal with this and it's done by many farmers, that is cutting at the base and leaving that base. You ARE removing nutrients and microbiome by pulling that. I saw the video for the beans which is what got me to this one. Yeah I'm leaving that root system. It's really easy to offset another planting of something else Just a piece of advice, talk to farmers that cut and leave the entire root system and see how it is they can plant right after because in regenerative ag. you always want plants in the ground so they figure it out somehow. If you learn what they do THEN you can make a judgement about what you do and what they do and then compare the whys. There's nothing wrong with what you're doing if it works well and you can stay organic. When you have to move to synthetic chemicals then you run into problems.
Outstanding content, fascinating build-up load cycling concept.
Just got my HLG Propagators in today :)
I wonder how it'd do if you had at it with a scythe, and then tarped it over to frustrate regrowth
I just subbed to your channel
Thank you, I will give it a try
I thought bush beans could yield a 2nd or 3rd harvest. Also, would you show the grid system -how you plant these beans? Thank you
Bush beans can yield a 2nd, 3rd and sometimes a 4th harvest. We have picked beans multiple times in the past from one planting but we choose to do it all at once when possible. We recorded a video about planting the beans on our channel a while back and here is the link to the video: ruclips.net/video/3UVQyQjFkXs/видео.html
can you feed the leaves to chickens?
Yes you can!
is there a reset if the generator was overloaded
Yes. There is a 50 A double pole main breaker on this particular generator.
This was really helpful - thanks for creating it. I was surprised that the double sunblasters didn't do better
I suspect your biggest problem was unbalanced 120v loads across the 240 volt winding with center tap. You would be much better off using an auto transformer to generate the neutral so you get full power across the 240 volt winding without tripping a breaker.
Nice Ty. That was awesome. Just bought one and the info will come in very handy ☮️
I have this generator. It meets my needs perfectly, but I don't have all those electronic items. Just need to run the fridge, lights, microwave, swamp cooler (in summer) and dishwasher. My house is heated completely with a woodstove.
It's really cool to see people growing their own food. It would be great if more people acquired this habit. In addition to improving our health by consuming healthier foods, we contribute to preserving our planet by reducing the use of pesticides. Congratulations on sharing your knowledge and experience with us.
Just curious what brands of fridges or freezers are those. Good video btw.
Thank you! The two you see in the shot are Norlake AdvantEdge refrigerators. We picked them up for a good price when a local restaurant had close in 2020.
@thehillbillyfarmers that's brilliant. They sure look in great condition and you're welcome 👍🙂
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏
You're gonna wanna size your wire properly. If you're using the 50a plug you need #6 wire.
Yeah, that's a good harvest, mate. Just subscribed. I'm also a farmer and a fishrman. Greetings from Christmas Island. We've got lots of sweet potatoes varieties here that can produce good yields Even in anemic soil, In fact we have a certain variety here that can grow on pure sand along the seasides which each tuber weigh about half to one kilo.
Thank you! The varieties you have there sound awesome!
Well done loyal and faithful servant that abundance harvested sweet potatoes. Happy Fall Days and Thanksgiving.
Great harvest!!!
Thank you!
His girl friend sure is quite the talker . Good idea on the grid system.
I'm going to try this , thanks for posting this very interesting gardening video !!!!
Great video I thank i try the grid system
