I stream challenge runs live at: www.twitch.tv/vomiit If anyone is wondering about the setup (only works if cursed): -Cast Power Within at 104 health with Sanctus shield equipped -Drop at 70 health -Unequip Sanctus shield once Power Within has expired to preserve RTSR (This strategy I learned from LemonCupcake, a great DS1 runner you should check out!)

Cheers dude, that helps a lot! I was standing too far on the slow attack and couldn't deflect. That's gonna take some time to learn.
Unfortunately if you don't get right up in front of the boss before the combo happens the game won't let you deflect it even if you time it perfectly. Annoying game design but it is what it is I guess.
