Thanks for the trip. I do a similar technique with my pano shots with my hand at the end, but I put my fingers up to remind myself how many shots are in the pano. Hand up and palm facing the camera the is 5 or less, hand up palm away from camera is 6 to 10. Haven't needed greater than 10, but if I would I would go palm front and hand at 90 degrees Love the pano of the castle you took.

When you pointed out *the most famous window in photographic history* 11:00 I was thrilled. I envy you having been there. I've begun exploring early photographic processes and Fox Talbot is, unquestionably, the inventor of everything we do today. The daguerreotype's reign was barely twenty years, but the negative-positive process, the foundation of practical photography, lasted a good 150 years before digital photography arrived. I'm sure you know all this. I'm just saying it to educate anyone who is a total bonehead on the subject - as I once was! Best wishes from Vermont; have a safe and thrilling 2022. 🐧

I was slightly regretting not heading back to Badbury Clump at the weekend as we did have a bit of mist hanging around, but decided to concentrate on the hares instead. I'm hoping I might be able to get out again though before it's too late for this year, I have a few other local spots to explore too! Sam.
