I can't believe it, you are the man, Jlo always destroys demos perfectly but she prefers the flop.
with some proper song structure like an actual second verse and bridge this could've actually done something for her.
Imagine refusing "Cherry Pie (Eric Prydz 2005) remix" for her Rebirth album...it would be the biggest bop of an album, same with "Make It Pop" produced by Timbaland. She recorded it (it's also a phucken bop, it's on YT), but chose mellow generic boring songs for Rebirth such as "Hold You Down", "He'll Be Back", "Can't Believe (This is Me)", and "Whatever You Wanna Do"... I don't know which album was "Breaking Me Down" supposed to be released in, but as far as I remember it was either "J.Lo" or "Love?". And this song sounds marvelous, but guess what- she chose a bunch of boring filler songs on J.Lo and songs like "Villain", or "Until It Beats No More" for Love?. I just can't with her. She didn't push "Try Me" release and even music critics considered it a wasted potential. She also from her last album "Marry Me" preferred to release generic songs like "On My Way", or "Marry Me" as singles, instead of "After Love" which actually was the best song on the album and with right mv and promotion it would smash the charts. It was certain from the start she wouldn't conquer the hit charts with songs like "Marry Me" or "On My Way"...I realize these songs may have a deep personal meaning for her. All her 2018's singles were a total downgrade to what she was releasing back in the early-mid 2010s, her 2017's singles "Amor Amor" & "Ni Tu Ni Yo" sound like one song, they are too similar. Her only right choice in the last years was performing on SuperBowl and releasing "Cambia El Paso", which should have been a worldwide hit. But in general, I don't understand a lot of her decisions...I also have no idea how she wanted to shoot her movie back in 2003 more than performing with Britney & Madonna on AMA's 2003, it would've been such a big moment for her.
