Bushy parkrun 1000th event - HOW MANY RUNNERS?! - parkrun history!
Bushy parkrun made history with it's 1000th event when 6,204participants showed up!
We spontaneously made up 2 of those, when we decided to drive 171miles at midnight on Friday 30th August, to attend Bushy parkrun's 1000th event. The missed sleep was worth it 😃
Busy park is where the first ever parkrun took place all those years ago, so not only was it a special number '1000' it's the first ever parkrun to reach that number and now it's the biggest parkrun in HISTORY!

Special shout out to the 136 volunteers that made it happen in a very calm and collected manner! That's why we love p...

We visited Dietenbach parkrun in Freiburg, Germany during our 4 week European road trip in August 2024. We had 3 Saturdays away and wanted to visited a different international parkrun each Saturday. This was 2 of 3. The parkrun is mostly flat surfaced paths, consisting of 2 laps around Dietenbach park. Inflatable 5k - For Microtia UK

We did the inflatable 5k in Leeds to raise money for Microtia UK. Our Nephew Lincoln was born with Microtia and this is how we learnt about the condition and the charity. We would like to raise awareness to the condition as not many people are aware of it. We raised £595 between 2 families taking part in this event.
