We seek adventure all over the US. Travel in a JL Wrangler Unlimited while boondock camping with friends. We hike and wheel our Jeep and explore looking for great scenery, good coffee, beautiful sunrises and chase the horizon. In 2022, we will explore all the states west of Texas and travel north to Dead Horse Alaska and back to Michigan.

I've been looking into a few dashcams for the '24 JLUR. One of the things I've trying to avoid is using up any real estate on the windshield to obstruct my view. This one caught my eye because it goes where the mirror is. How do you like it? I'm interested in a dashcam that has 24x7 monitoring ability cloud connected so you can remotely look at the cameras etc. What do you think of all the features on this one? The hardwire kit has me a little nervous. I'm looking for something easy to install and don't want to do any drilling. I was looking at the Nexar camera that plugs into the OBD port, but the unit itself is huge and sticks to the windshield. So I'm looking for alternatives. Thanks!

It is not broke, It is cracked, I have had the glove compartment door off at least 15 times or more. I know in the video it looks like it broke, but that is that little gear that popped out that you see me put back together.

Actually, I can pull as high as 19 mpg. When just cruising on the highway. Usually it is more like 16.5 normal driving.

@@GoneAgain-Outdoors there’s could be a million reasons as to why that could be, tire type, air density, quality of fuel and octane, how heavy your rims are etc. heavy vehicles with gutless motors will actually get better mileage with more aggressive gearing simply because it’s less load on your engine at highway speeds. To be fair it’s hard to get 20 miles per gallon with 38’s unless you have a diesel.

Yup, it is about ten dollars. I was not saying in the video that it is the only way to depress the piston in the calipers. You can do it with a C clap too. Just showing an easy way to do this without special tools.

Yes, it will work on just about any vehicle.
Needs a snorkel… looks dangerously close to getting to the air box if that’s still stock.
I have a snorkel on it. It is by the passenger side of the windshield. It just doesn’t have the hi mounted part on it.

@@wibornz My longer videos take a while to edit and get to the point where I’m satisfied with the outcome. Most of my stuff lately has been RUclips shorts. Nothing really worthwhile recently for a long video. All I remember was it being a Jeep and it was white or silver. It was around exit 19 on northbound. I was in a red semi with a dump trailer.

It is the armorlite system. I love the Armorlite product. I have had it in my jeep going on two years. It is tough never stinks and cleans up super easy. I just used 3/4 plywood to make mine and painted it with bed liner.
I pulled out my homemade one and now use the Cargodog. cargo.dog/

Known issue but 149.00 wire harness pigtail would have fixed that from zautomotive. You are mad at Jeep but dumb for buying a whole new axle.
Maybe look at the date of the video and realize that z automotive had not released the harness yet. So who’s dumb now. Z automotive release the harness for purchase about a month after this video was made. That does not negate the fact that Jeep would not sell the sensor in the first place requiring me to buy a whole new axle.
