Hum a Rey movie that actually works? Sorry I don't see it. We would need to save the character from the trilogy and her own nature in it. Too much to rework. Too much to rewrite. Grey Jedi? My first thought is that a very bad idea. I would stay soundly in traditional epics that are driven by strong characters. Lucas himself moved just one or so steps out of that position and suffered for it with Episode 1 and 2. Imagine one of these lesser story tellers that have been announced doing it again. It is going to be bad again. But that said, I doubt Grey Jedi can exist as a separate thing. If the Grey Jedi know the darkness and decline the Dark Side, they are not Grey. Haven't we have just allowed our Grey Jedi to use the power of Death itself? How can that be anything but abusive? So, the Grey Jedi are followers of The Emperor. They are Sith.
