It's a long day when you get up at 5.30 and you can't see 5ft in front of you when driving lol

@@libertywinguk Where I live the terrain is like the Mach Loop and when the weather is in you cannot see anything until the fog lifts but then you can see for miles then when its cleared

@nigelcox127 it was really strange today it was like a strange film where the fog rolls in, at 11am I decided to go do the field end to catch the second wave and the fog just rolled in again and you couldn't see anything it was really eerie, mother nature was definitely saying your not filming anything else today lol

@@libertywinguk Exactly the same here you can see it rolling up the valley over the mountains overlooking the Bristol Channel and up as far as the Brecon Beacon on the top of the mountain

Yes technically correct, I still call it raf Wattisham as I had many days watching the phantoms and Lightnings there, I believe some sign posts in the area still say raf Wattisham

It was really windy and I didn't have the van to get a better view, very difficult fence to get round at Wattisham

My thoughts exactly. All our squadrons had semi-subteranan hardned shelters. I am more concerend with the tool cart and lack of two sets of eyes signing out and sighning in the tools.
