i honestly dont think your take on Hot to Go is all that.... hot. shes clearly overstayed her welcome for a lot of people and i think the most rabid stans abandoned her a few months ago. i do understand how the song could get old - i enjoyed it a lot more before it got played umpteen million times. but I still stand by it as a fun and solid track.

Beautiful things got annoying after a while but I can honestly see why it became popular in the first place. He has better songs on his album for sure though as well.

Okay, 1.) I must say that I could not disagree more about your Chappell take, but I do respect it as of course ppl have different likes and dislikes for music. I do think that Chappell's lyrics that give the vibe of not being super experienced as a lesbian are actually really nice for her massive young WLW audience. I like how goofy she gets, especially on HOT-TO-GO. 2.) (and this is an opinion that's actually very unpopular) I don't know why, but i actually really like the way Benson Boone yells the chorus on Beautiful Things. Idk, it sounds really nice to me and I really like screams in music 😭
