No, you can get 1000hz on the G7se. Just gotta set it up on a windows 11 pc, there are tutorials on the gamesir website. It works on Xbox. Not certain, but I heard xim’s can increase input delay so I’d stay away from that. Not sure what you’re using it for anyway lol. I doubt Xim’s 1000hz mode is real, that sounds impossible to me, but I could be wrong.

I don't know if you can access this link here, because you have to register. more literal and two guys arguing about whether or not the 1000 hz on the xim matrix works, and I believe it works. I would like your opinion if you were able to access this link

more about what you said above about being able to set 1000 hz on Windows 11, does it only work for PC or does it work for the Xbox console too?

@@Flak12 It worked on Xbox for certain a couple months ago, the photo techy tested it with a 240fps camera in slow motion. Also, in my opinion it works on Xbox. But Xbox appears to not like gamesir controllers having such an advantage, so who knows if it will work forever.

@@Flak12 Also, you can't really feel 1000hz unless you're playing a game you're extremely good at. I can clearly feel it on Apex. I can't feel it on other games but I do perform better with 1000hz on other games.

The triggers? I have trigger stops installed but that's probably not necessary for sports games.

On Apex it changes your perception of the aim assist. It doesn't actually change the aim assist. I really like raw mode, but it's not as good.

Kaleid for 500hz, g7se for 1000hz. Kaleid is a lot easier to get 500 hz on. I prefer the shape of the Kaleid

Kaleid has mechanical buttons and is the same shape as the default Xbox controller but performance wise they’re the exact same

1000hz doesn't work on the Kaleid on the Xbox but it does on PC. Kaleid on Xbox is capped at 500hz. Both great controllers, 500hz is very quick still.

G7SE has to be tinkered with to get true 1000hz on Xbox, and there's no way to measure if it's actually 1000hz. Basically you have to download a script on a windows 11 PC for it to work, but even then there's not way to know forsure if it's even 1000hz because Xbox is going after Gamesir. Xbox Does not like Gamesir being the only 1000hz controller on the platform, so they are doing everything they can to stop 1000hz. 6 months ago, this was by far the best controller on Xbox but now it's hard to know forsure. As for the Kaleid, 1000hz does not work on Xbox at all, but 500hz does. If you set it to 1000 you'll actually get 250, so do 500. It would appear that Xbox and Gamesir came to a compromise at 500hz with this controller. So as of now, I would recommend the Kaleid, but that's subject to change with how weird Xbox is being about the whole thing. The Kaleid is also my shape of preference.

I may recommend waiting a month for the 250hz Razer wolverine v3 tournament edition instead. If your happy with 250hz this controller looks like it will be probably the best ever. Or if you have money and don't want to wait you can get the pro edition today

I think I agree with you. ALPS sticks do arguably feel more responsive to me too. But I've only noticed that in game for the most part.

I'm talking for recoil control btw. My recoil control does feel less responsive on hall effect. But my gamesir controllers have a better polling rate than my Razer's did so that sort of makes up for it!

Thanks, it's certainly 30 FPS just wanted to see how hard it is. My controller was 250hz, Monitor 144hz, NVidia reflex on + Boost. Not sure what losseless scaling is? Sounds like it would add input delay like frame gen, not sure though. What is losseless scaling?

Lossless scaling is a post-process frame generation technique that can improve the frames per second (FPS) in games and emulators by up to 200%. It's similar to a mod, but it doesn't require access to the game's internals. Instead, it uses two fully rendered images, including the HUD, to perform the frame generation step.

From my experience the T4 has looser sticks than most controllers, certainly looser springs than PlayStation controllers.

I find the springs to be about as tight as an Xbox controller and a little looser than a PlayStation controller

No, your deadzone doesn't need to match. -Note, different software's MIGHT measure deadzone differently, so matching them is potentially a waste of time. Example, 5 on Gamesir MIGHT be equal to 7 on Fortnite. -Usually, the larger number will take priority. Meaning if your Fortnite deadzone is 20, your gamesir deadzone won't make any difference until it's above 20. That's assuming they use the same measurement system, which they likely don't because there's no official unit of measurement for stick input. It's safe to assume the number is similar, but it's likely not the exact same. -I am not a fan of software deadzones! I'd recommend setting your gamesir deadzone to 0, and then set your Fortnite deadzone to whatever you want. -I'm not a Fortnite player, but keep your deadzone as low as possible, experiment a little.

Yeah, built in deadzone is really bad. Why not just set the deadzone to 0? Is it not actually 0? I'd recommend the G7SE or The Xbox Kaleid, hall effect sticks work well for me. The standard G7 is also good. Regarding the built in deadzone I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. I just set mine to 0. It does sort of feel like it still has more of a deadzone that my alps sticks, is that an inherent trait of Hall Effect sticks? I'm very open to the possibility ALPS sticks are better for raw aim. Hall effect sticks are not the deciding factor in me using Gamesir controllers.

@@acfire9227 hey! So I have a g7se and I just can’t get used to the Hall effects sticks😭 I am like a raw Aimer 4-3 linear no dz, I kinda also want my roller to have somewhat of a stick drift. I have heard the standard g7 is suppose to be good. So I might give it a go! And I do prefer alp sticks for raw aimimg. As I have owned a previous fusion pro2 controller, it worked wonders. But I will definitely check out g7 I just hope the stick tension on the roller isn’t high Aswell!

The rubber is a much larger surface area, so it feels worse at first. But you can switch the G7SE to Xbox sticks in less than a minute. I tested both, I preferred the Xbox sticks at first. But upon further tests, my results were much better on the larger circumference Gamesir sticks. The Gamesir sticks also have a thicker shaft, so if you swap to Xbox sticks you will need to re calibrate the controller. The stick springs are about 20% looser which is a good thing unless you're terrible at the game. I play no deadzone. It's better, and has additional rotational aim assist especially on PC. On Xbox I would recommend considering small deadzone especially if your on a default controller.

Literally everyone has springdrift, springs get loose over time. Stick drift is when it goes in the opposite direction of your input which I doubt you have. It’s module drift rather than spring drift. Spring drift is good

Not right now, it’s best to avoid it. Light weapons are out of meta, the scout is the best light weapon. For a primary you want Hemlock or Nemesis every game. The scout is a valid option. Or the Sentinel if you want to shake things up.
