ME329 students: Please note that there is a typo in equation 8-20 which appears around minute 4:45. It is a small typo in the denominator of the equation. Refer to your textbook and the powerpoint posted on Canvas for the correct version of 8-20. Thank you!

Thankyou doctor
Could you please share the answer to the concept checkpoint problem? Thank you in advance.
Hi. What is the name and author(s) of the textbook you are teaching in this high-value video? Please let me know. Many thanks! Isn't it "Shigley's Mechanical engineering design" by R. Budynas & J Nisbett?
Good evening mam....your teaching is very best...I liked a lot.... please make more videos of machine design ..... from shiglay's book
👊 "Promo sm"
Maf on YT. And I can follow along & recreate in another program. 🤩🥰🤓 2StrokeStuffing (RUclips channel name) is having a similar problem with his engine setup. You'll make a world of gearheads elated if you could assist. My "intellectual credibility" is nonexistent so my RUclips comments are useless most of the time.
Great lesson, keep it coming please, you just gained a new subscriber ❤
You have been 7 months but didn't respond from youtuber....so I think that Mam's husband stopped her for making videos without getting money...😂😂😂😂
so good
do y0u have insta because i want discuss about factor of safety
very good lecture Love & Respect from PAKISTAN karachi
Good content! and again could be interesting to have links to standard curves and excels for a better understanding and training in parallele =)
Good video =) could be good to share the Excel in your description =)
You're welcome!
Madam it will be great if you could upload videos for bending stress and contact stress formulation for metric units. Explaining all the factors.
1892 is just a bit before I was born :)
thank you doctor it was so useful.
Thank you so much ❤️🙏
Hi
Miss Lauren, Thank you for providing such an interesting and detailed lecture..... this video of airplane crash makes me want to learn more about the ways to prevent fatigue and fractures ... this is an excellent resource for someone who is keen to learn about fatigue and fractures... Thank you!!! looking forward to learn more from you in your upcoming videos...
Nice work, we will be at CES please check us out.
Thanks for the shout-out, Lauren! And great work delivering asynchronous content to your students!
Note: I am making a massive simplification by treating the bike and rider as one big moving sphere. Since the analysis is more about the brakes and less about the dynamics of the rider and bike, we are ignoring inertial effects of the wheels, as well as the true locations of the center of masses of the bike and rider. We are also neglecting aerodynamic drag and rolling resistance. In a full-blown analysis you would want to consider these things that are left out, but that would be a LONG video :)
