Hey! Awesome shots of mpls! I wanted to ask, I’m make a short video with some clips of mpls. Can I use the clip of lake Harriet or the lake Calhoun/Bde Maka Ska?

yes we used to have a great Fourth of July fireworks over the lakes and my family would canoe from Lake of the Isles - to Lake Calhoun - through the Lagoon.

Beautiful home

What an absolute pleasure to actually view a home that is filled with original artwork. . . and not stuff from your local Home Sense store where three people on your bock have the same identical print. It's a lovely home. I loved that the owners stayed true to the original details and preserved them to embrace the modern world. Well done! Darryl

When I was young back in 1965, I worked for a company called Lake Painting Service in Wayzata Minnesota. The owner was Donald Sprague. He was also a minister in Wayzata. We painted a lot of the big houses along the shores by the Lafayette club. Don and been in business for years and had a great reputation. I have a lot to thank him for because he taught me a trade that I support myself no matter where I was on the planet or how old I was His son Lee Sprague and I drag raced cars together in the 60s. We also worked together for his dad. We painted this house in 1965 or 66. I left Mound in 1981 for Carefree, Arizona, 1986 left Arizona for Rocky Point, Mexico, 1992 moved back to US/San Diego, 2004 moved to Costa Rica, 2013, heart attack, now I am a prisoner in San Diego California. Not too bad a place to have to stay. Plus I get to live with my oldest daughter and grandson. 73 years old but the stories I could tell about Lake Minnetonka through the 50s, 60s, 70s! I'm working on the tell all book.. I have the perfect title, "NO NAMES WERE CHANGED BECAUSE THERE WERE NO INNOCENT".
