To understand how important Bitcoin really is, imagine yourself, you can have all the Bitcoins in the world, but you can't ever touch internet anymore, or you can have internet, but you have to pay everything with potatoes. No brainer, even if we have to pay with potatoes, 99.99% of this planet will always go for the internet. Bitcoin as an invention is cool but meaningless compared to what we have in our lives (transportation, clothes, housing, electronics.). Btw, since when do you care what form money has? I'll tell you, since you are listening to these absurd presentations. Internet, hooked after 1 try, crypto, after 15 years of desperate attempts, it's still not used besides the 'get rich quick and easy' dream. Also, anybody thinking that Bitcoin will still be around 100 years from now lack all sense of future vision, as it will be hacked into oblivion by technologies we can't even image yet. Eventually everybody holding Bitcoin will lose everything. Disclaimer, I have 6 folded my (small) investment in BTC, but that doesn't mean I have to cheer for the nonsense it is.

Besides the incredible amount of bullshıt, I got a valuable insight: blockchain technology is to value what internet is to information. People laughed at the internet in the 90s. It's slow, expensive, complicated and can't compete with the already existing solutions. Everything works fine before the internet. Nobody asked for the internet just as nobody asked for bitcoin. But they will adopt it as it matures.

Honestly if I just bought and held btc only since I got in during 2017, I would be doing much much better now and would own much more btc than I do now!
