Fire is the only source of heat in such a situation. Very informative work and good shelter.

My friend that aluminum tape is not made for the high heat temperatures it will just melt lol i have tried it before trying to make my own as well. Also a word of advice you should never make the fire pit at the front where your exit is just in case of an emergency fire you will be trapped. I have never seen someone put the tarp up on the inside before. I hope it holds out rain.. great build tho the shelter looks solid and fairly cozy, lol. Cheers tnx for sharing

Very interesting video. The heated rocks is a great idea . Dint show the food much. Most of the video was about building the shelter. Next time use sometime about the food preparation.
