I LOVE how the ceiling turned out! And yes, I also get anxious about the noise of hammering a picture hanger. You can find "super hooks" online (and probably at hardware stores) that you can quietly push through the drywall. They curve around behind the drywall to distribute the weight and only leave a small hole.

That looks so good, you did a great job. I love repurposing items. I personally don’t have a problem with the curtains length TBH🤔 I’m renting an old cottage with mismatch length windows so I don’t have the luxury of all my curtains being the perfect length. Only my bedroom has curtains that skim the floor 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi I’m a new subscriber and I just watched your ‘20 things that make your home look cheap’ clip from a year ago and one of the things on your list was ‘quotes’ in artwork which I personally hate too. But here you are with a ‘quote’ light on your wall lol Hmm 🤔 I personally don’t like it but hey it’s your home. However I do love that you love vintage furniture and decor. The beauty and quality in most vintage pieces just supersedes anything made today. Mid century isn’t my thing, I have Victorian and Edwardian pieces in my home. I’ve left my furniture unpainted and in it’s original condition apart from cleaning with furniture polish/oil. My taste is eclectic and nothing I have is matchy matchy. But my tiny cottage is definitely a step back in time.
