My Uncle's Car was a complete right off because the Infotainment Screen died. I want the option, to opt out of the Infotainment System and needlessly complicated in dash screens. As well as adding more complexity to Automobiles the Infotainment system is a big distraction when driving. Drivers have a limited amount of concentration. This concentration should not be on operating the infotainment system. It should be on what is going on around you. Seconds count when you are traveling at Speed. Switches, Dials, and knobs that control a single function one can learn to operate by feel or muscle memory. So one does not have to take there eye's and concentration off the road as much. Also, all these screens us a lot of Power. How much Range is this costing if one is driving a Electric Car? A Infotainment System = No Sale for me.

step in the right direct , hoping these are simple battery, motor, propeller / low maintenance , hoping 5-10 years we will might have commercial 500wh/kg batteries with long cycle life compared to the 250wh/kg we have now , so these will be superiorer and cost will go down year over year, and maybe you can use the battery to power the house , when not in use.

I'll consider an electric car when they agree on a single charging station. Just like gasoline cars all use the same pump style. Simple concept, but it doesn't seem to work when the world allows the ego of Musk control things ( like the completely rediculous dash of the muskmobile) instead of uniformity.

No. The main advantage is that a punk can't prank you by pulling the cable, or a Karen can't move it to a different vehicle. I would consider the "convenience" to be a liability, though. A pipped fuse that goes unnoticed makes for a vehicle that is still not charged when you need it.
