Great idea! I have two more 65” OLED TVs to install .. with the three of them at a 45 degree angle to one another , the completed system will have a width span of about 11 feet 👍

I just cannot understand why you are using x plane scenery. Looks so bad. This simulator is incredible
lol it’s P3D not xplane. The avionics software can only work with P3D at the moment. You can bet I will make the switch to MSFS 2020 or 2024 as soon as it is supported.

can i ask how do you get the outside view on the top right?
I’m guessing you are asking about a different video since I did not do that in this video. Generally, I am now using a video mixing box called a Yolobox Ultra. It has 4 HDMI inputs. My main camera, the iPad, and a third video out directly from my P3D machine to a third HDMI input on the Yolobox. You can configure multiple Picture in Picture displays in the Yolobox .. one of them is combination of the main camera view and the third HDMI input from my P3D machine .. I configure that external view in top right to be spotter view .. that’s how I do it .. hope this helps

@paulkiad6924 I have msfs 2020, and my landings at lukla and paro are smooth. Just looked at a few real life landings at paro. Needless to say, you had a perfect Approach. Seems like you were distracted during touchdown.

Wish I’d discovered you sooner. Home cockpit AND vatsim. My dream. Get some screens tho when you can. Have low res on the sides, high res in front, and consider getting a high end rig. You should blow up, because popular niche audience. Earned yourself a sub 5 mins in lol.

How come Paul you only put on the Anti collision lights on after engine start? They should be on before pushback and any time the aircraft is moved around on ground.

Hello Paul. Just a quick recommendation. When you disconnect the autopilot you should also disconnect the auto throttle at the same time. ( Only airlines that has autothrottle avail to touchdown is american) This is standard boeing sop. great setup btw.
Hi there , thanks for the suggestion. I have elected to do late AT disconnect in the interests of workload management .. maybe when I get real good I’ll start disconnecting AT earlier/at the same time as AP disconnect. Thanks again 👨🏼✈️👍🏼

@@activex7327 thanks for the suggestion. I may do a video on the motorized TQ in the future, suffice it to say that it is excellent. Throttles, spoilers, trim wheels, flaps and the rest all work as expected. Highly recommended. 👨🏼✈️👍🏼

I am truly envious mate. Your setup, your personality, your skills. Stick with it. This channel will get huge with time. I think it would be hazardous to my marriage if I was your neighbour, as I'd be flying and tinkering on the sim with you 24/7 🙂

Hi there! If you are asking why I built the sim, I have had a life-long interest in flight simulation. For many years I flew PMDG 737s. Then one year I invested in a mode control panel (MCP) and EFIS and really enjoyed the tactile controls. So instead of buying a boat or a motorcycle, I decided to build a 737 MAX 8 in my basement. It’s my hobby 👨🏼✈️👍🏼
