This is amazing. Almost like a video game when streets are closed for certain stages. I hate when videos like this get so little views. The cat videos get millions of views for a yawn or something ridiculous. Now all of the tiktok videos are taking over.

The problem is that winter tires are very expensive, especially Blizzaks. I had them on my Mazda 6 and they cost me 700$. That was back in 2005.

Ken brand Yes the set cost about $1200 for all for for this truck That being said I should gets least 4 seasons out of them and in the northeast it makes a big difference for traction No regrets

@Ezaarkash My car slips and slides in the snow when I used to have AS tires. With winter tires it's a totally different car. Stable, planted and moves off without any drama when it's snowy out. MB loves to tout their 4MATIC systems but in reality they need winter tires to be used to the fullest extent which is why MB themselves recommend winter tires/rims and even sells approved brands for their vehicles. Don't be so gullible. Marketers will say what they want to get customers in, it's up to logical thinking people (unlike you) to determine what works best for their needs.

@Ezaarkash You have to be one of the biggest dipshits I've ever seen on RUclips comments, and that's definitely saying something. No one *NEEDS* Winter Tires. A RWD Ford Crown Victoria in a Minnesota Winter running on general All Seasons *CAN* get by fine in the winter; that's not the point. People get Winter Tires because there will come a time where All Seasons cannot get a person out of a situation. Winter Tires have a softer rubber compound that, no matter how you try to argue against it, is superior to All Seasons because it's designed to not harden in winter like All Seasons do. I would love to see you try and argue against that. Also, just because a brand recommends a tire with a vehicle - often involving tests with the specific tire and vehicle by the manufacturer - doesn't mean another tire can't be better. Mercedes RECOMMENDS Winter Tires for people living in snowy climates, and yes, they still recommend the All Seasons that came with the vehicle for summer conditions. People with Mercedes in Scandinavia are required to buy Winter Tires, and Mercedes dealerships even have a package deal for Tires and Rims that you can buy so you don't need to swap your All Season tires and rims and put on Steelies like many people do. Also, I have owned 3 Mercedes (E-Wagon, GL450/carjacked, and an ML320/stolen from garage), 3 Volvos (XC90/carjacked, XC60/truck plowed into me, and a 2015 XC60 Ocean Race Platinum/current), 2 Chevrolet Suburbans, 2 Toyotas (Highlander Hybrid/totalled in accident, FJ Cruiser), 1 Jeep (Wrangler/carjacked), 1 Volkswagen, 2 Fords (F150, F350/carjacked), 2 Cadillacs (Both CPO Escalades cuz no one can justify one new logically also BOTH stolen, one from driveway, one while driving and yes I live in a gated subdivision in a nice area), 2 Lexus (Both LS; one an LS460/donated to charity, one an LS500/totalled in accident), a Lincoln (MKS/current), and on 70% of them I drive Blizzaks or iPikes in the winter. I've driven all those vehicles in snow and ice with the manufacturer recommended tires that came with the car, it's perfectly possible, however if you care about yourself and the people you love and the people around you; you get winter tires when you drive in winter conditions frequently. I have a 1972 Ford F100 Custom that belonged to my grandfather, he bought it new, and I baby that thing. I never drive it in the winter as its RWD, a 4-On-The-Floor, in immaculate condition, and I'm terrified of it getting carjacked (see the record above...), I do not drive with winter tires on it as I don't drive it in the winter. That being said, me, not being a dumbass like yourself, I keep chains, road grit, flares, heating blankets, unfreezable water, and a shovel in the car because there comes a time each year when I need to drive the car to keep it running and I have a brain. I have kids and a beautiful wife who only got iPikes (she believes in Studded Tires where I just get by on Blizzaks) once we had our firstborn as no matter how stubborn YOU are, even YOU can't deny the validity and scientific backing of Winter Tires vs All Seasons; and if you try, you need to be locked away in a mental institution. I also live in Alaska and am originally from Norway, so I have some experience with winter conditions unlike yourself. I spent a brief time living in Houston, TX after Hurricane Harvey to help family (that's where 3 of my cars were carjacked... 6-10 is NOT a nice Freeway!!!!) and even they understand the importance of Winter Tires, although they don't quite get the reason they're needed - but still even TEXANS WHO NEVER SEE SNOW EVER UNDERSTAND. They understand you get Winter Tires for winter, duh, but they seem to think you have to take them off when there isn't snow on the ground (because in most places snow melts and then falls again, like Colorado), not understanding its really a temperature thing (daily high under 45, mount the tires on the car regardless of road condition). Now that I have explained... well, many things; time to return to my first point: "You have to be one of the biggest dipshits I've ever seen on RUclips comments, and that's definitely saying something". I have seen people get irritated and pissed off in comments over really ridiculous reasons like crust on or off toast, or whether a cat is cute or not, but you sir take the cake on the stupidity. You are harassing people and using experience with a car to try and justify an opinion. Here's the thing; many many people in the Middle East can probably say "I have had 4 Mercedes, 2 with 4-Matic", how the Hell does that give you ANY sort of credibility in the Winter Tires argument? Owning a vehicle does not mean you would have experience with something your car has never been in. "Ohhhh! I have this car, that means I understand how to drive through Siberia", bullcrap. You could've said "I've owned _______, and they have all been through Michigan's brutal winters and I've never needed Blizzaks", okay see, THAT'S a somewhat logical argument. You however are just pitifully disgusting as not only a human, but also as someone who supposedly has logical ability. "Who you think you talkin to?", Snookie says the same fucking thing and I wouldn't take her advice. Yea, who you think YOU talkin to? Oh yea do I scare you with my words? Do you realize how stupid you sound saying that? Its like when you see an actor being stereotypically New York Italian and they say "Ayyyy fuhgettaboutit, who you think you talkin to? I outta get Don Loretta on yo bahwls to whack ya", seriously its laughable, not tough, and it actually detracts from your argument; not that your argument could be detracted any further. Now, as a service to the needy, you, I will retype your comment using correct grammatical technique and punctuation so you can edit your comment and fix that depressing grammar - nothing can fix the logic though. Original: "gullible my ass kid...who you think you talking to...i have owned 5 mercedes...2 with 4matic...Never ever needed snow tires...believe what you want...but thats a fact jack!!!" Revised: ""Gullible", my ass. Who do you think you're talking to? I've owned 5 Mercedes, 2 with 4-Matic, and I have never needed snow tires. Believe what you want, but that's a fact Jack!" Side note: Who the hell says "That's a fact Jack"? I feel like you're one of those Baby Boomers who is stuck in their ways even when logic contradicts them; like when they think that smoking "probably isn't *THAT* bad" for them even though studies show otherwise. I think if anything you don't have credibility in the Winter Tires argument, but you certainly do when it comes to creating a "Top 10 Ok Boomer" playlist. Goodnight, grow up, and take a Xanax, you seem like you need it.

@@PaliottaMedia Oh absolutely! My cars all run Blizzaks while my wife chooses iPikes as she feels studded tires will give superior traction when shutting the kids. My 2013 Lincoln MKS has 245/55/R19's and it costs $1,400 to get new Blizzaks, $1,550 if I wanna get a 5th tire as a spare since there's usually a discount on that (I got the 5th tire). It hurts to spend that money at once, but I remind myself that I would rather spend $1,500 once than spend thousands more in insurance because I wrecked, thousands more paying a lawsuit because I couldn't stop in time (I never drive distracted, but I can admit I've crested a hill too fast before and had to stop faster than what is probably safe as there's a car stopped taking a picture of a moose on the otherside), or worst of all, the cost to bury someone I love because my tires couldn't get traction and avoid a tragedy. That last one is the biggest reason I get the tires. If I die, my family would be okay; I have an life insurance policy but I still wouldn't want them to be suffering (a good reason to still drive with winter tires even by myself), but if I have to drive someone in my family and I wreck and they pass, my kids for example, I wouldn't be able to live with myself and the world would have lost someone (or both of them) special because I couldn't cough up $1,400 when I could afford a Mercedes GL550. Also, you can get used tires with 80% treadlife which should be more than enough for most people. Tires depreciate FAST, for obvious reasons. On my Volvo XC60 I actually bought 4 Blizzaks with 87% treadlife for $300 instead of spending $1,100! Good investment in my opinion and are still on my car right now.

@@IKhanNot Mercedes offers a great Winter Tire package that you can buy where they have not only Winter Tires, but they can mount rims on them that are either just like your normal rims or you can get more durable rims, so you can not only have tires mounted on rims already to save money and be more convenient, but you also don't have to use your nice summer rims on the salty roads! Great system!
