Kupp's cap number in 2025 is $29,780,000 and $27,330,000 in 2026. There is no way we should trade anything to take on that type of contract. Maybe a team like the Patriots, Raiders, or Commanders would be willing to take on that type of cap hit. I agree with moving off of Eddy Pineiro. We need a guy whose range is 50+ yards that can consistently score us points from 45-55 yards.

cooper kupp would be the perfect replacement if thielen truly does retire imo, id do it for like a 4th he has atleast 3 more years to be that slot guy for us

Dan's and Dave have had the team for a single year on top of losing a lot of top paid players that would've completely hamstrings this team. Give him some time to go out there and get that talent like he did for the offense line.

with tee injury history at his age I dont think paying him heavy would be the right move. just seeing some of these young dawgs on some of these teams like malik, jamar, and jets makes me feel like the panthers should go out and get a young wr through the draft or trade. Feel like we just need to build our receiver room getting good young wr at a good value for now but I think our future WR1 will have to drafted or a young guy we can grow with.

Ive heard people say that walkers college production isnt "all that". I disagree, cuz theyre solid numbers. What's fascinating about him is, like you said, his combine numbers. He could have those freak athlete physical traits that would make him a superstar. I also think he would be more like frankie luvu, a good pass rushed but also a good coverage LB. Jalon Walker would be a huuuge reach at 8. Respectfully, nothing about his college performance suggests future All-Pro. PFF grade of 73.0, 7 missed tackles, only 6 sacks. There are maybe a dozen I'd take before him: Carter, Princely, Green, Pearce, Sawyer, L. Jackson. I'm sure I could find some others, too. Unfortunately, the top tier of this draft class is really only about 8 deep, and since we wouldn't pick a QB or Jeanty, there's a high likelihood we end up having to reach. If I've got to reach for a DE, I'd ake Princely personally.

I get the Mason Graham allure. Great talent. But when you look at this draft and how it falls you either hit on the Edge position/Jalon Walker in the 1st or you don't hit on a top talent. You can have Deone Walker/Alfred Collins in our late second round to third round pick. Mason is better suited for a DT we NEED a NT, but I understand he could play NT. If you take Mason do not expect an Edge player to be there with our current second pick. Much respect! Also don't forget we must find 2 starting safeties this offseason so Malachi Starks is not out of the realm for our 1st pick and then also going back with our 3rd pick for another safety. Evero values secondary players more than he does the DL.

Panthers will have almost 50 million in cap space by march 13th. Just watch! Possibly 60 million if the new cap sets at an additional 10 million. Restructure Moton, extending horn cutting Tuttle, sanders, Dane Jackson and Corbett would add a possible 30 million to the cap.

Graham would be great if we were playing 4-3, but we need that extra large beef to go next to DB.

Graham's numbers are very similar to what Derrick Brown put up in his final year at Auburn. I would love to see them playing side by side, but I don't believe he will be there with the 8th overall pick.
