S. Reich - Piano phase | MO Museum installation Trailer
The project Installation "Piano phase" was premiered in MO museum in Vilnius, Lithuania by two pianists Monika Mašanauskaitė and Anna Szalucka. Pianists performed "Piano phase" by S. Reich twice a day, 5 days long.
This liberal and democratic presentation of the music allows visitors to freely move around the space and experience music in a completely new environment and fresh, forward-thinking approach.
Project was funded by Vilnius municipality, Nicolas Boas Charitable Trust, Vilnius St. Christopher Rotary Club and apiary "Bubilas".

@@monikalozinskiene Your reply gave me another excuse to listen to this wonderful performance! And I just noticed how funky the 2nd piano accompaniment is starting from 13:01 :) groovy! And that wonderful octave cascade from 17:24 culminating in the chromatic TA-TA-TAMM, TA-TA-TAMM is one of my all time favourite moments in the piano concerto repertoire. Thanks again for your music!
