I was just trying to record a good mean and I ended up getting a really good single. This was almost my second sub 3 but of course parity had to ruin my chances of that. One day I'll have a sub-3 on cam.

I am always on the look for a good 4x4 and with the new AoSu, I think I have found something that has a lot of potential. I'm really excited to get this set up and see how it performs in a competition setting. But until then, you'll have to settle for this first impressions video. Been a while since i uploaded one of these or really any videos (with the exception of the team factory solve). I decided that I should make a list of videos I need to make in hopes that it'll get me back to a somewhat consistent schedule. Anyway, I got a few more comps planned and I really want to get this sub 9 avg before the end of the year.

This was done at NAC which was a lot of fun to go to and compete in. I got to be an honorary member of Canada while I was there, so that's cool too. This was a little tricky because Me and 1 other person don't use Yau as our main method but thankfully neither of us were all that slow. YAY FINALLY, GAN VS MOYU ON 4X4! I got my AoSu WR M over a year ago, so i cant wait to have many options of what to get between GAN and MoYu, and Vin i guess
I am really hyped for those 2 cubes as well. I really want a new 4x4 after having the gts2m for 5+ years lmao and literally didn't updated to mgc or the vin cuz I was waiting for moyu to realease a new one (and now gan too) so we'll see which one is better

Smaller and lighter than the Vin? I love that cube, but my only issues are that it feels bulky, so this sounds like a dream come true!
yeah so the imperfection is most noticeable when you do a slice move adjacent to the imaginary middle layer, because if it doesn’t carry the middle layer then everything will still be attracted to the core but if it does carry the middle slice then the pieces beside the slice will not be attracted to the core and ir will feel a bit different besides that the only possible difference would be turning inner layers, but the difference isn’t that big because the difference is the same as a Rw vs 3Rw on 5x5
the problem with the possible magnet layout you pointed out is that it doesn’t provide the same stability as the ball core; imo it would likely have a similar effect to simply having stronger magnets and it doesn’t affect the outer layers at all, while requiring 48 magnets instead of 16 i believe moyu does plan to produce a version with a ball core plus these track magnets though

@@curiousNic i’m not sure if there will be four versions, but it seems that I have at least some sort of ball core and UV coating
@@mangocuber Thanks for letting me know. Ball-core and UV coating is all I need. And knowing MoYu we probably will get 4 versions.

Cool. Is the qiyi m pro 4x4 any good? I had never heard of it before.
It's actually really good if you take the time to set it up, but it is prone to popping. I would just get the vin as you get world class performance with less setup and less risk of popping
