I have always heard about "Progressive Enhancement" but I didn't knew it was built in from the root for remix.
This guy
I approach "the framework wars" from the point of view of my CV... I've got Symfony and Vue on my CV (I, personally love Vue & Deno the best)... but all the job adverts want Laravel and React :(
Daayum!! Yall had all of that?? Impressive 🎉
I can't believe this is the official recording. 2 hours of raw video with the camera in the wrong position. Edit: To be fair, is not that bad when they show the code editor, but it would be nice to have been seen the whole screen.
might as well just upload the audio alone... since we can't see anything he's trying to show
I agree diversity is great. Be it in people or technology. Look at some of the most successful nations in the world. Diversity is what made them great.
wow, a great talk indeed.
Very good talk. Should be watched by any who would like to contribute to the web.
Excited! Does Drake represent us well though?
Oooiiii
Went through so many programming paradigms in my dev life - the one which is here to stay is ReactiveX. The more you get into it, the more elegant and expressive and solid the results. Alone the ability to send whole computing pipelines around and run them in a distributed system between processes run in different languages... with cancellation, buffering, backpressure control and all that is insanely powerful. Only problem really is the entry barrier. But I think it will see a second, longer lasting hype phase, can't see any real alternative.
Is this talk available anywhere with the slides?
Good talk. But not showing the slide when the speaker is referring to something on the slide really sucks... -1 for the post-production team. 🙃
renderAlt logo looks like a porn thingg
What happened to showing the presentation along with the presenter ?
Excellent observations about the learning process and what makes a great problem solver. Engineers are first and foremost problem solvers with different tools, skills, experiences, viewpoints, in their tool belts. "Failing up" cannot be replicated in a strict academic, book learning situation. And "failing up" must be facilitated with strong, enthusiastic, and compassionate mentorship. You don't want people to stop trying, ever. Also, hiring and investing in people with varying viewpoints and experiences will improve a team's problem solving capability, and is one of the most overlooked tools to create teams that are resilient and avoid groupthink. Wonder what an accurate and useful metric for adaptability could be? Great job.
We want an official support for RxRust
Great talk
Soo good
Thought I was pretty solid on observables until the firehose$ example poped out 😂
Very interesting. Radically changed my view about this ever-lasting framework war going on
RxJs Documentation should be reduced to a minimum number of operators! The big number of operators scare people away from using RxJs!
the code screen is not displayed in full width, only half of content is readable!
Amazing talk 👏🏻
Awesome talk with audio issues
As a side note, for the second example you could have just sent the new note as html directly from the server and prepend it to the list
Really like the talks he gives, but oh my word the audio quality 🫠 And the video from his laptop is obstructed for the entire duration of the presentation. Why would anyone proudly put "Audio & Visuals presented by Metamask" there?
This session is about TypeScript. the actual session is here: ruclips.net/video/xMs2nncTYnw/видео.html

01:05 Evan didn't even mention Angular 😂
False statement
@@cat_copilot Oh, I mean it's 01:05 here.
says a guy that created a framework for people to implement component libraries inside that framework instead of just using `lit` which utilizes web components that your browser supports and you can write the library once.
Did you watch the entire talk? 26:50
well, vue pre-date webcomponent support by at least 4 years
I don't know if you're trying to be obnoxious on purpose but you're doing a fucking great job
Great Talk
React? Get outta here
This is hitting hard in so many ways. Thank you for giving this talk and being so transparent and open about challenges along the way. Sometimes all people see on social media is the good parts.
Beyond Grateful and Thankful to have experienced such a Phenomenal Experience!
Thanks for having us - you really Nailed the vibe
