I had a feeling that fishing would not survive this lockdown like previous. Decided therefore to venture forth and fit one last one. Weather a mixed bag but main thing sea was fishable. Solo trip and social distancing adhered to....enjoyed the fishing and weather

A frosty pre-new year jaunt to the seaside. North Bay Bridlington was the destination. Loaded up with rods, bait and snacks...schoolboy error to be had...forgot Bovril...what a Muppet.

Last minute dash to the Harbour, for maybe the last time for awhile. Pastures new to be sought in the search of cod. Bloody freezing, but wrapped up warm...love it!!

The Grandson and I (get me using proper English) set off to do a bit of that there Sea Fishing malarkey. Straight into the perfect storm. We ended up warm and dry on top, like a a pair of drowned rats below......North Pier closed because of weather, so forsuth to the South....fish to be had and indeed were

Well started off on North Pier at Brid Harbour, but it was getting a bit cramped. So, off we jolly well trots round to the South Pier...more spacey. Fish to be had on both walls and a very enjoyable trip.

Heavy fog on journey in, harbour clear. Fog rolled into harbour, but within 20 minutes cleared again...strange. Decent haul of fish to be had.

Solo trip for a bit of night fishing on Bridlington Harbour. More visits by friendly bird (Cyril), thought it would be only right to give him a name. If however he proves to be a she then Cybil.
