Thank you for a very helpful video. I'm afraid I can see an animals face in this, eyes nose and mouth. Sorry, I'm sure that's not what you intended.

It looks much better and I like it the way up you have it on the easel. Some lovely movement and soft colours are relaxing. I've started making art again and find it a great way of escaping. Thanks for sharing ❤, Jo. Nz

So enjoyable to watch you paint! Thanks for encouraging other artists to keep at it. We need each other more often than we realize. 😊
Thankyou so much for your positive. response.
Stunning 🧑🎨💯
Thankyou so much.
Quite enjoyed your video, first one I have seen! I think most of us have trouble convincing our brains that not everything needs to be representational! I start out abstract then find myself overworking the painting! I like your methods.
Thankyou glad I can help.
Hi You are fantastic ! I am glad you are in your happy place and pianting so beautifully. I watch your videos often and always enjoy them. Just followed you on Instagram. Cheers !

Thankyou for your support.
Thankyou. Oh you have made my day. Glad to be of assistance and all I can say is keep enjoying and keep painting.
Thank you, Sondra for sharing yourself and your art process. When i watch your videos,I am encouraged and inspired to keep going with my art. There are many many pieces hanging around my studio that need to be "calmed down" and i often feel very frustrated about that. I am going to practice this week letting it go and letting it flow! Sending love and blessings to you, sweet artist friend 💕
Thankyou so much for your kind comments. You have made my day. Nothing like positive comments to make you feel good.
Lovely tutorial, Sondra. I am an abstract painter, here in the Canadian Rockies and happy to say that I am older than you and still reap the benefits of painting, for myself. I too, see the influence of landscape in my work but sometimes struggle to incorporate all the happy colours. I am encouraged by your pleasant voice, to work more spontaneously. Thank you.
Thankyou so much for your kind comments. Nice to meet you. Thankyou for the follow.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Sondra. This is exactly what i needed to see. I thought that needed to be done with white, and thats not what i wanted to do. You just saved me. Once again, thank you.
Nice nice
Wow! Great way to start. Im learning so much from you. Thank you.
Again, thank you Sondra.
Thank you so much for taking the time to teach and show us your process! God bless you!
Thankyou for your lovely encouraging comments and I really appreciate your support.
Wow! They look so good after you threw them crayons on. I have been trying to figure out the Composition thing. Now i finally get it. I learn so much from you, as you explain things very well. Thank you so much Sondra.
You seem like a nice lady Sondra. Your a good soul who looks at life optimistically. Wish i was like you. I feel miserable today because im frustrated with this abstract art.
I am at this time, trying to figure out how to quiet my paintings down. Very nice work you do. I love your style.
Oh Thankyou. Yes it’s hard to see and evaluate your own work. I find it hard to not put too many bright gappy colours around the canvas. Then I can’t go d the focal point. It’s like a dance adding and subtracting.
Love it💗
Thankyou for your support.
Lovely
Thankyou so much

Hello Sondra ... My eye was fixed on your list of 3 questions (what to do next) that was hanging behind your painting. Mind sharing the 3 questions you use? Thx
That’s fine it’s just a reminder for me. They are What is your initial impression of the piece ? What 3 words describe the art? What are the best features of the art ? What makes it strong ? What makes it weak ? Put the artwork away first and few days or a week and come back to these questions Time out is always helpful. Just go for it and don’t overthink it. Hope this helps. Xx
