very nice! did the speakers just plug into the bike like a plug and play, or did you have to wire them in to the electrical system?
@@holmesd5003 you have to purchase a Harley Davidson cutting kit that comes with the wiring harness.
I added them to mine also but not sure if I like them. Reminds me of Hank Hill from King of The Hill.

Did you have to add another amp or do they run off the current amp that runs the fairing speakers.?
@@kevinc7910 it’s one Rockford Fosgate 500 W amp that HD put in all their CVO’S. If I add the new HD dropping 10 inch bass speakers That would require a second amp.

Did you change your rear speakers. If those are the 6x9's and you still have them I will buy them off of you.
@@jessel.8697 Hey Jessel I have not changed the rear speakers as of yet. I’m still kind of waiting to see what system works best on these 24s i’ve been talking to Jay at volunteer audio.
LOL just put some on mine yesterday….. flipped mine though so they are under the bars.

I agree that HD cheaper out on the mirrors on the CVO ST. I added the Switchback mirrors to mine and wow what a difference
@@streetglidesteve7315 I agree for the price we’re paying everything else is switchback. Why wouldn’t you put switchback mirrors on? It’s a cash grab by motor Company
my goodness...still can't get over the new style bags. they remind me of BMW bags.
@@lennyjames65 I agree, but I really like the restyling especially for the ones that like to run single exhaust it’s a much nicer look I always run duals myself.

@@MEGATRON_1247 yes of course I just wanna get it set up the way I want it first I own a couple other CVO’s that I ride often, but I will tell you with the redesign my other CVO’s seem acquitted.

I did hertz speakers all around. Look into those. Way better then anything Rockford can offer.

with the 4 hertz speakers did you have to change the original Harley amplifier?
Don't have to. Much better sound. You can keep the stock Amp.

Love the bike. I have one also. Sounds like a sewing machine. I put a two into one Bassani exhaust on and it sounds much better.

They are called Frame Sliders! Not tip over bars! Saying that makes it sound as if you just added training wheels.

Yes but, these carbon tip mufflers look beautiful and are lightweight so I gonna try taking the baffles out of them first and go from there.
Hahah i was thinking the exact same options but got lazy and went with krome werks. Some folks took the baffles out and bike was running too rich because of the back pressure. So don’t take them off just put holes all around and put them back. That case you have some pressure
@miraziztoy 😂 yea great idea. That's a 1300 dollar set of mufflers. A bike doesn't run rich because of less back pressure, it runs lean because of more airflow.

Yes, that’s the Rockford Fosgate stage III rear speaker kit from Harley Davidson.
I also have a CVO ST and there's a lot going on when you start that bike, The lifters are noisy. There's a lot of clicking and clacking and ticking going on with that engine. I've had a lot of harley's and this is my second Milwaukee 8 and that never made all those clicking noises. The dealership and other Mechanics say that's normal on the CVO ST

The rear tip over bars were $350. They’re on back order. The HD color matched lids were $700. The Rockford Fosgate stage three rear speakers with the grills was $450 the CVO cut in kit is $149

I'm waiting for mine to come in. I want to do the same. Did you get the speaker alone and cut it in, or did it come with the lid. I couldn't find it on the Harley website. Do you have the part numbers?

I’m looking into that now. Some riders put their feet on the flat out bar. I don’t think that’s comfortable.

Nice bike, I love my CVO ST in black waiting for my tip over bars the only thing is that might bang into it sometimes have you.
They do work and clear all paint and bags if your bike lays down

Have the same bike being delivered soon. Good call on the rear tip overs. I also want to do the sound package, but I am not sure about going your way or completely aftermarket. Any regrets. How about a two up seat option?
The tip of bars I think look awesome I’m glad I did the rear speakers although Rockford Fosgate system is a little weak i’m going to upgrade with Hertz Neo’s. No two up seat for me I’m only riding solo on this bike I also own a 2020 Road Glide CVO that I’ll ride two up on although I don’t even want to ride that bike anymore after owning this CVOST.

Availability the speaker lids were going to take 6 to 8 weeks at the time I ordered them they were on back order the kit was in stock at a few different dealerships.

I’ll try to do a video. The problem is non-copyright music is awful I will tell you it sounds pretty good at mid volume, it gets a little distorted up top.
