I've owned two of these and I don't recommend them because they lack AVX2. They'll overclock to 4.4GHz to 4.6GHz and they'll run DDR3-2400 RAM quite easily. Get the 5930k, E5-1650v3, 5960x, or E5-1660 v3 instead along with a lga2011-v3 motherboard, or better yet go with Ryzen. If you're stuck on the lga2011 (non v3) platform for whatever reason then get a E5-1680 v2 if you can afford one.
This lady is barely more advanced then the Windows Dancer lady that came with Plus! for Windows XP.

modern air coolers are nothing more than simplified liquid coolers, the heat pipes on decent air coolers have a drop of water in the tubes that boil through the capillary lines inside the copper pipes and then fall back down to the cold plate, even if the CPU cooler drys out inside its not the death of the CPU cooler just will be less efficient

@@majedahmad1171 I run a peerless assassin 120 se on a 5800X3D. My chip gets hotter than I was used to with a 3700X but stays in the 40s until I game or do some other CPU intensive chore. It hits mid 60s when gaming.
i went air cooled on my 7800x3d for my new build, and havent had a problem with it yet.
