Bare minimum, look at your state ballot initiatives. In Colorado this year, there are two issues that I haven't seen given much media attention. Amendment J is sneakily worded as "lifting the ban on gay marriage," which is absurd as no alphabet person is banned from marrying in Colorado. What it WILL do is erase the words in our state constitution that define marriage as between a man and a woman. Amendment 79: craftily worded as "prohibiting the state and local governments from denying, impeding, or discriminating against" the supposed "right" to abortion - also absurd, as anyone can get an abortion in Colorado at ANY stage of pregnancy. But it will allow for state and local funding to be used for abortion. Our local tax money! Some of these state ballot measures pass or fail depending on a few thousand votes. The wording of our state constitution MEANS SOMETHING. And when we have a chance to say "NO!" to our tax money being put directly to immoral uses, we need to speak UP!

Thank you, Fr. Zepeda, for that in-depth explanation. This is also a martyrdom for me. Although I am not of the descendants of the Mohawk tribe, I am of the indigenous Tribe of the Rosebud Sioux, and unfortunately, in today's world, no matter where I am in the United States, we indigenous still experience racism, and even moreso when this Feast Day of the North American Holy Martyrs (may they pray for us). That said, we are labeled, still as savages, even in today's world. With the stigma of being indigenous, it goes on both sides. In the 18th century, over 100,000 indigenous people of 5 tribes, (who were not mohawks) were forced to march the trail of tears, under US President Andrew Jackson, because he wanted to get rid of the "Indian problem." Forgiveness should also be preached on this day (for both sides), because it is an act of charity that pleases Almighty God. God Bless You, Fr. Zepeda and Mary keep You.🙏🏼➕️🙏🏼

A fetus is a stage in development, just like toddler, adolescent, adult, etc. "Before I formed thee in the bowels of thy mother, I knew thee: and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and made thee a prophet unto the nations." - Jeremiah 1:5. People aren't aware that (as Attorney General) Kamala Harris prosecuted David Daleiden after he exposed Planned Parenthood for selling aborted fetal parts to traffickers. The WHO is using world leaders and governments to promote depopulation. If parents are callous to execute their vulnerable young, we won't stop with other populations. Science has proven that life begins at conception and a heartbeat is heard at 6 weeks. This life is not part of the mother's body, but is life within the mother. This isn't for her to terminate, against what God commanded. The number of American babies killed by abortion EACH YEAR is roughly equal to the number of United States military deaths in ALL U.S. wars combined. Birth control pills are abortifacients. There is a larger agenda and the American people are pawns in a communist and satanic game of human sacrifice! 😢 God have mercy on us. Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, please Pray for Us. 🙏

Voting for the "lesser evil" is not the strongest argument, Father. Voting for the party that will not criminalize you for speaking out against abortion is the stronger argument. This would be the Republicans. Under a Democrat rule, we will loose our right to free speech. Those who speak out to defend the unborn can expect state action against them if Democrats win.

Thank you, Father. You emphasized praying the rosary well. How can one be sure they are praying it well? How can I teach my children to meditate well when they still stumble over not mumbling through the words? Is a rosary still prayed well on my part if I'm spending some of it correcting my children's words and behaviors during prayer? It seems I am always distracted.
