l feel like it's about a person or group developing an outlook on life with themes like childhood and the oppression of women coming into play. The ending to me is realizing the man in the picture is narrow minded and has harmful ideals, or maybe it's representing most of humanity, and the good hearted minority has to find their way to freeing themselves from that type's grasp. There's a very distinct feeling here that I can also get when thinking about the nature of humans.
