    Can you use ribbon in place of fabric. And do you use a heavy duty needle. You are very easy to follow

    I wish I had been told it was for a 2.5” binding when I bought it. I make 2” binding and have struggled with making it work. It is fine for other uses, but for my binding, not so much!

    What does it mean if the center of my placemat keeps trying to “pucker up”? I can’t get it to lay flat and then it starts causing the entire placemat to curl. I’m stuck!

    Thanks for this great detailed video. I have made a few rope projects mostly bowls and placemats. However, I am going to undertake a larger entry rug. I was wondering if you have a formula on how long to make the initial strip for a rug that would be 35 by 70?
