Mikey and me went dawn patrolling Sunday morning before sunrise. We started at OB, then to Law street where he went out. I had planned to go after church so I wasn't in a hurry to get wet for 1 footers. Mikey is a patient guy

Paul did great today. The water temperature dropped from 70 to 58 in the last few days, a phenomenon that happens randomly when ocean water from the deep rises to the surface drastically changing surface water temperatures. I had a wetsuit prepared for Paul, but I thought "70 degrees lol, that's no problem for me", famous last words. I froze the entire time with an "ice cream" headache feeling....

I was super proud of Jonathan this morning, he was awake when I came in his room before 6am, and he put everything into getting out there and catching waves. OB has murky waters and crazy sandbars with rip currents. He caught a couple waves and proved he could hang with the boys. Next stop will be marine street

@@dawncampbell1193 the student matters just as much if not more. The success of the swim depends on the students capability to listen and stay calm while maintaining a floating stance. Paul did extraordinary with all that!🫶
