In this video I join my wife, Debora, at my local community lake to catch some fish. I know the lake very well, and, although there's not a lot of big fish in there, we typically catch our fair share of dinks. I guess I was hoping for a confidence builder.

Clinton Lake in Lawrence KS has never been kind to me - until today. I was finally able to catch a bass over 12"! It was close though. The fish came off the hook and landed outside the net, but the fish just stayed still, (possibly thinking it was inside the net?). I scooped it up quickly before it knew it was still free.
