2022 Durango Vintage Festivus Documentary
The 2022 Durango Vintage Festivus was a Vintage Clothing event born from the freewheeling mind of Famous Denim Hunter Brit Eaton. The Festivus drew international media coverage for its record setting auctions, spectacular wholesale offerings, and mind-boggling price points, commanded and paid by a new vanguard of 20-something Vintage Dealers.
This short-documentary offers a glimpse into the strange world of reckless clothing enthusiasts and their obsession with Blue Gold.

Also used clothing is only popular in the US because people are pushed to it. It’s sad . As someone that lives in extreme poverty and luckily I can caregiver for my roommate - like I’ve had terrible jobs that have almost killed me it just sucks that we are born into this slavery. If it was perfect all this woulda been repurposed long ago
Bring back eco friendly hemp etc!😅
amazing production quality, very professional, keep it up, I would like to see more documentaries about the vintage lifestyle, I recommend going to some of the thrift cons!!

Imagine someone guessed 'In the future, people will buy used clothes in the pile on the floor while competing' I would've called that person you are fucking crazy. But what's happening.

hahaha this looks like so much fun
LOVED this documentary because of how interesting the stories were, but i will never understand the whole denim fashion and value. haha
Rich people pretending they're poor 👎 Resellers 👎 The great thing about fashion and life is that things move on, one day these people won't be hip anymore and all the kids will have moved on to different tastes. Very few people in real life wear vintage clothes if you go to popular places and people watch. They want to sell stuff for a lot? I'll buy new, dumpster dive or wear what's not popular. No trendies. No cliques. No kool aid drinking cults. Real style isn't paying a lot for clothes, you have it or you don't, these people are just trend followers. Without social media they are nothing. We were shopping secondhand before the internet, you just went and tried to find cool nick nacks or weird clothes that were out of style and one-of-a-kind to wear for school. No one tried to make money doing it, that was not an option or ever thought of because it didn't exist. The best you could have done would have been reselling stuff though a newspaper ad and who/why would someone do that? The only thing we used classified ads for were to find weekend estate sales to drive around and find a few weird items for a few dollars. Might pick up a old book, old man's polo shirt, cool jewelry for 10 cents, etc. Only the lower class poor shopped secondhand, it wasn't cool, if people knew you shopped secondhand you got made fun of at school and were an outcast.
Brevity is the soul of wit.
I feel you dude, some of these people are just chasing cash and never went thrifting out of necessity but a lot of these people really love the history of this stuff.
@@josephnerney4823 you read all that?
