Maneater Mildred Invades the Gutter - DSII
I tried the first toree game 2 years ago
I love all the references, sonic and kirby love appreciated ✨
Great insight of the game. i didnt expect to enjoy this game as much as I did before playing it and mostly came down to its bizarre and surreal atmosphere. wasn't like anything ive felt before and i entirely agree with you on the music in the game being a big aspect of its quality especially in the autumn room which i loved so much
im currently casting a net a for interesting games and my brother in christ i just caught a big one
Hell yeah! haha glad this could help ya on your search :D Bryce Bucher's games are all very interesting and atmospheric, you can't go wrong
@@coffeeandbonfires it's funny beacuse i have actually played the demo for his other game 500 CALIBER CONTRACTZ and have come across fatum betula before but i gave it a go after this vid and it was in fact very good.
Nice work coffee, love these videos!
@@Radwalls ty!! Glad you enjoy these :)
I really enjoyed this video coffee!! I hope you continue to make more like this <3
@@ArianeC7150 tysm!! I really appreciate it :D
Great review! I think the quick replay-ability of a game would lead me to get more bored of it actually, if it doesn't have enough variety. Rushing through parts of a game just to get to new stuff gets tiring for me. But the atmosphere and the choice of helping NPCs or not seems really interesting.
that's really fair and i agree, i think i enjoyed it the most when i was discovering everything organically still & the atmosphere and writing was *chef's kiss*, I'm glad you enjoyed the review Furii :)
Man the vibes of these videos are immaculate, you have a real talent for this.
thanks! that means a lot ty,
Loving the continuation on these atmostphere-heavy games, somebody ought to review these gems and I'm glad it's you drawing eyes to 'em! Casting this into the library. _... The backlog looms in the distance ..._
ty Crappyyy!! :D i'm glad you liked it, you won't be dissapointed if you pick it up, there's so much i don't cover on these videos.
Is the mobile version of this also good ?
Darn, that i don't know , i don't have a device where i could test this unfortunately, due to it's real time combat and fast pace i imagine it would be more difficult on mobile but can't say for sure
@@coffeeandbonfires I did play the mobile version and did not play the pc version because I don't have a pc so can't compare it but it is playable that's for sure
if you're into dungeon crawling, and especially this vibe, def check out Barony. It's pretty punishing but super fun, and it has a lot of mechanics that seem really frustrating at first but serve to keep the gameplay tense early on even later on when you master the first few levels of the dungeon.
oh hell yeah i love Barony! I've played it with friends a few times, we haven't made it very far i don't think but it's tons of fun, even when the Minotaur spawns lmao
I need to play this game again! I loved it even when I sucked at games, now it’s been at least a year so I bet I’ll like it even more. I really appreciate you putting the names of the games you showed at the beginning of the video.
Finished the game about two weeks ago and instantly bought Interior Worlds (from the same developer) as I really loved Hypnagogia and appreciated enough aspects of the game to trust the dev enough to purchase their next game without hesitation. Only played a few levels of Interior Worlds yet but it's already a fantastic horror game with an horror atmosphere not many other games had managed keep up for me. I also loved the horror parts of Hypnagogia, so I seeing Interior Worlds having the horror tag on Steam was already instantly very promising :D
Glad you enjoyed it! i'll have to check out the rest of Soda Raptors games as well, Interior worlds looks great and I've yet to play the first Hypnagogia, I'm really hoping for more titles like these, Boundless dreams was such a great experience
0:33 If these games are actually (part of) your backlog (which I assume, even though there's a small possibility of it just being a placeholder), I want to take the opportunity to vouch for Hollow Knight and Persona 4, both fantastic game. Yume Nikki isn't that long and it's a small, free indie game (as you probably already know), so it should be relatively easy to squeeze it in sometimes, and I'd say it's really worth it. Not many games can keep such a great atmosphere, and even less of those are made with such simplicity.
Hell yeah, thanks for watching and vouching for these, most of the games in that image are ones that i've postponed for way too long & Yume Nikki is definitely one of my top priorities atm! :D
I was really shocked to see that your channel has so few subs, you're making some really quality content here. Good editing, great audio, and you are really to the point in what you try to get across to your audience. I'm looking forward to your future videos, keep it up man!
tysm! very kind of you to say, I'm glad you've enjoyed the videos! :D
Great video coffee! I really enjoyed watching you play this and it looks like fun! I might have to get it lol
tysm!! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D it's def a fun one!
Delver is one of my faves of the genre!! love its atmosphere and glad to hear it being discussed!!
quickly became one of my fav roguelikes too! it's a real gem :D
Oh, you've actually finished it. I was expecting this to be a devlog. Wonderful, I'll go ahead and wishlist it.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! i didn't Develop Delver though, all credit to the Studio Priority Interrupt!
Bet, subscribed.
Oh I really like how it looks. I'm not usually a fan of rogue like games, but I'll probably pick this up :)
Delver is so cool! Great video -- I like how much you cover on the game's many mechanics and how varying the actual gameplay can... play out? Just enhanced the excitement to jump into this lovingly made indie. Edit: Giving the OST a long listen while working; thanks for linking it! ♪
TYSM! I'm glad you enjoyed it!! i think that's my favorite aspect of Delver since many different strats are viable it kept the gameplay loop feeling fresh
Kitten Burst
I really enjoy hearing more about obscure and weird games
Nice vid!
tysm! glad you enjoyed it :D
Sounds like the perfect little game for me. I love the atmosphere and puzzles of silent hill but the combat makes me hesitant to play it. I definitely love a little joke here or there to break the tension, and that is a beautiful coffee for a save station. Great video coffee!
I'm really glad you enjoyed it! thank you! The game is such a treat lmk if you get around to playing it :D
Another great video 🎉🎉
tysm Rad!
great video man! I really love hearing about smaller indie games that I'd never have heard of otherwise, and your presentation is wonderful. Keep it up!
tysm!! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
You did a fantastic job breaking down all the incredible details in this game!
tysm! It really means a lot :D
Ah, I loved the first game! Been trying to see if I could save up enough cash to buy this one!
oh hell yeah, if you loved Hypnagogia, no doubt about it, Boundless Dreams is def worth checking out :)
Great video coffee! It sounds like a fun game and about an interesting concept. Personally, I always keep a notebook handy for any game, even if it's somewhat basic, cause you never know when you may want to jot something down. -Furi
100% with you, notebook gaming is the best, even to just make notes of stuff you like :) I'm glad you enjoyed the Video Furii :D
omg i love your ideas!! nice
tysm! thank you :D
this was such a good idea!! wouldnt u say zach? luv this :333
nice video! looking forward to more like this, theyd be a great way to find new games
just wanna say, I love what youre doing and i can see your channel in the thousands of viewers. I myself have around 2000 indiegames on steam and love to see another person with such passion. keep up your beautiful work, there is so much hidden beauty out there, but sometimes it feels just so hard to find it, you make this a little easier for me! 🙂
Hey, Thank you! very kind of you to say, I'm glad you liked the video :)
Looks like a gem. Added it to my wishlist.
hell yeah, you would enjoy it and the PS1 era references too :)
This is the equivalent of dipping a toe into the water for this game! Looks interesting and the inclusion of puzzles is always a draw for me. Enjoyed your thoughtful review
I'm fine with that dragon but man, my pure hatred for birds enemies is beyond immeasurable.
lmao
I genuinely do not know how people find this invader hard. I’ve only died to him once and it was just because I was being really cocky.
Amazing video ! 😮 Great idea ! ❤
I’ve never played the dark souls games but I would be so scared if that invaded me
Its a shame you cant blast music over microphone in Dark Souls to play the Raincoat Killer boss theme when you invade
truly a shame, in DSII you can voice chat but only for coop iirc
W video
Ay tysm! I’m glad you liked it
I am one with the company.
A terrifying depiction of company life. Well shown!❤
