When I first tried to buy there were no International shipping options so I contacted The Blowout Professor and they changed the settings and I was able to buy. It may be they have decided to no longer offer shipping outside of the USA? But my advice is contact them and ask. Let us know how you get on!

Great question! I must confess I have not measured that precisely for any of the ones I have tried but in my head the Schwartzkopf and the Colorsport one have been the "best". I have another video coming soon with the new L'oreal one... but <SPOILER ALERT> that is definitely not THE front runner for me.

Yay! I love the idea of the comb that hangs in the shower! Have you tried leaving on the conditioner as a hair mask? That is my new "thing" cos I find leaving on longer (under a towel turban) is a really nice treat for my frazzled hair.

@SelfcareKaren I can never be bothered with the leaving in. I did buy some inkey hair stuff, with good overnight leave in intentions,, but haven't bothered. Hence, I like that living proof triple proof complex, 'cus u don't have to rinse it out, like olaplex. The comb was from superdrug. Btw, i used to be like u and used to hate styling products, but hersheshons mousse is vg, don't need much, lasts ages, their does everything cream, tiny bit (i normally put it on my brush bristles) to reduce frizz, also good. I also love the color wow dream coat spray as I do blow dry & straighten, and it's a heat protector.

@@lou2830 How did I not know about Hersheson's??? I will add to my list of things to try! I have heard good things about the WOW! shampoo and conditioner. BTW I do not leave the conditioner/pre-shampoo in overnight - I just apply to recently washed wet hair, then wrap my hair in a microfibre turban for as long as I have - usually no more than 30 minutes - and then wash out.

LOL! Our comments must have crossed - my review of the Plantur 39 anti-grey effects shampoo goes live tomorrow (11 October 2024)at 6pm GMT (aka London time). I applaud you for embracing the grey... I am just not ready yet!

Oooh, I will watch with interest! I thought maybe if I used it, my greys may go a little blonder/more caramel, so they looked like expensive highlights rather than greys😂 However I don't want the rest of my hair to go any darker. Re hair treatments, bit of a splurge product, but a little goes a long way, and no faff/ waiting around time involved, have you tried living proof triple bond complex? It does say best results are "with heat" and you mentioned you let your hair dry naturally. I really enjoyed the 1 x bottle I bought. Currently eyeing up the k18 hair mask, but that's even more pricey.

@@lou2830 I feel like I have found a kindred spirit 🥰Despite what I say in my review of the new Plantur shampoo, I think that it may well work well for you - as the dye only seems to go on the grey bits - PLEASE let me know if you do give it a go. I have not tried the Living Proof Triple Bond or the K18 range - both are on my list of things to try. I am currently road testing some of the Arkive range - I am not sure where in the world you are, but Boots sell this brand. For now the best I have found for repairing my hair is the L'oreal Bond Repair pre-shampoo (but using as a conditioner/mask) and also the Redken Acidic Bonding treatment - I have videos on both ☺

Re the oily roots scenario, I realised this morning, that I put my conditioner on my ends first and then comb it through the rest. So more goes on the drier ends. My hair has to be washed every other day these days. (Menopausal... so everything's slightly drier🙈). At the moment to try and achieve my "expensive highlights" look aka grey, and every so often, when the grey gets to me, I'm using a "shrine" caramel wash in toner. I don't think it's doing that much tbh, slightly warms up my greys, maybe?

With regards to excluding men - it is both done with any malice or bad intent and indeed many of my clients that I have worked with on a 1 to 1 basis have been male.

It's demi- permanent, so it doesnt cover greys anyway. It's just blends them

I did manage to find one Timotei product on Amazon: amzn.to/3B9ZMBI however this is not the line that I reviewed. This is what the internet told me: Timotei products can be found on several online platforms. You can purchase them on eBay, where they offer a range of shampoos and conditioners, including their Pure Green Tea Deep Cleansing and Tea Tree Refreshing lines ​(eBay). Another option is Beauty Ways, an online retailer that stocks Timotei products​( BeautyWays).

I assumed the info and products had been out for a while and I was just late in my discovery haha. If he included the shower cap in the set I would have probably gone for it. I’m about to purchase Redken Volume Injection set of shampoo and conditioner instead. Have you tried those?

I’m going to skip on the volume injection set then, because I don’t have much to spend to begin with. I’m just treating myself by investing in hair care at all. Should I try the infamous Pureology leave-in? I’m leaning towards yes. And for shampoo and conditioner I might try Ouia detox shampoo and Aveeno apple cider vinegar conditioner. Conditioner seems to be the hardest to find good reviews on! Thinking of trying the Pantene Miracle Rescue deep conditioner…still researching haha

@haleys4899 thanks for watching some of my other videos 💜💜💜 may I ask where in the world you are? I have used the Aveeno apple cider vinegar blend & have a video coming on that soon... if you have oily roots like me, I think there are better shampoos out there. You definitely do not need to go high end. The Loreal Elvive bond repair range is a great dupe for Redken Acidic Bonding... and in that range the best is the pre-shampoo... although better used as a mask after shampooing. If you are in the UK then the Timotei purifying shampoo is the best I have used in a hot minute. In the US, you might want to try Loreal Ever Pure - but I have not tried that, so this is just based on what I have heard.

This advert too is completely marked in my memory! Have you tried the new range? I am not sure how well it has done commercially this time as it proving hard to find...

I wish I could try the IGK one - I must try and see if I can get it here (UK) again. I was watching Mary off TikTok again yesterday (I watch a lot of hair videos!) and she also recommended using a scalp specific shampoo first and then another one that is more moisturising... Do you only use the shampoo? I am thinking maybe I should try a 2 stage process - so use this then use another shampoo and then use a conditioner (but not the Plantur one).

I also got to try Delina La Rosee after filming this video. I found it was very sweet and then that does fade but then you get a lot of peach. The search continues!!!!!

I am trying hard to have a day between washes but day 2 is often a bit of a slog as the roots are so greasy.

​@SelfcareKaren hi, have you tried the Elvive greasy roots, dry ends (GRDE)? That was my go to shampoo/ conditioner pre menopause. I quite like the Pantene Menopause range hair biology "revitalise & soothe" shampoo & conditioner, as i feel like my hair has gone drier, and I thought my Fav Elvive didn't suit my hair anymore (Though at the moment I've decided to use up some of my old Elvive GRDE, products and It's still ok)

@@lou2830 ah yes - I did try that a long time ago... may have featured in an empties video ages ago. I much prefer the HydraPure range to that one - which I found did nothing for my oily roots and made my ends even drier.
