How did you managed to bring it back home? What is the length and also did you take it apart for packaging and was it hand carry or in a check in luggage? Thanks!
@micqn2 It’s 35” long. Hand carried, to Canada. The boat breaks down in 4 pieces, the hull, 2 SS wires, and 2 bamboo outriggers.
@ I don’t know now tho if it’s still allowed for the 35 inches long because they have that hand carry bag measurement at the airport unless you carry it just like that.I just need the Hull no accessories needed I can get those here.Thanks!
@@micqn2 You can contact him at @macoyschannel3415 or FB macoy's channel 2 0 . His name is Mark Anthony. Ask him for a price on the specs (size) you are looking to work on. Tell him you will supply the electronics (ESC and Motor). This is a race boat and is designed to go forward only so tell him to put a straight stuffing tube on if you want to use a solid shaft over a flex cable so you can go in reverse. Ask for a shipping cost to your location. I hope this helps you.

@@sebastiansouza7605 No it will not. Just make sure to rinse all hardware and surfaces on on deck as well as hull with fresh water for at least 5 minutes. If you hard sea water inside your hull you must flush that out too with fresh water.

8 minutes full power, then bip and slow. stock version looks like a submarine in thight turn, so you get water inside.
@@manfirebirdF350 Yes, stock does but not mine. I moved the ESC and battery on mine including the ESC which I also replaced but removed the shell. Of course I waterproofed the ESC as well. I also added two 7g weights over the discharge housing inside preventing the bow from submerging into the water when stopping from full speed.
Same problem the technician said it will cost $150 to fix. I've super glued it I am even reinforcing it with sponge underneath both electrical connectors. Thankyou for the tutorial

Hey a heads up you shouldnt use the ammo box with the seal since when it off-gases it doesnt need oxygen to increase the pressure and it will blow up with much more force. Using an ammo box is designed to contain the fire, not the gasses. It's better to have to deal with the smoke damage than the fire damage.
@@GlobalSourcing Good catch but the ammo box seal actually has 2 - 1” gap that I cut out for off gassing that I did not mention on the video.

If ever in PDX, go see the PT museum the star attraction is PT-658. Fully restored and operational. There is also an LCI you can tour, which is also very cool. Good job on your model, PT-109 it’s Captian and crew, were what you hold as an example for your young men.

It appears that the genoa leach is too long, and can't be pulled tight enough to stop fluttering. The sheet is pulling aft and not down enough. Great work.

I would love to see this setup in 10 - 15 kts I reckon you're onto something mate. Are you using Ripstop Nylon for your sails brother? While I was watching this, It hit me that I might try a symmetrical Code 0 with the bottom seam being 3/4 the LOA of the boat. These videos have got me thinking.. Thank you friend, MQ - Australia
It’s is rip stop nylon. I just wish it were water proof. Even spraying and soaking it down with waterproofing agent did not last but yes I have a ton of fun with it. Please be sure to tag me when you get yours done.

How do they shape up against a DF95 or say the Focus V 3.0 ( I have a Focus V 3.0 but its been in its box for nearly a year since I bought it.

It can hold its own even with its heavier weight. The DF95 will surely win though if the wind starts to pick because of its lighter weight and slimmer body profile.

@@Top-Jimmy I only know two guys succesful with Imoca scale boats. One is P-E Reg very successful, Thomas Norton, but has not posted lately, and an Aussie man on mezzenger with a very fast Imoca foiler but don't post on YT. Those are the only 3 I know.
