The Banks of the Susquehanna River - Baptism of Joseph Smith
I wish I had taken time to be patient and watch this video before trying to install a used hitch, now I've partially stripped out the frame tie-in threads. At least this company's instructions are very specific
Anyone familiar with Dodge City, Kansas knows how inaccurate the Gunsmoke settings are!😠
This is the most helpful video of all time for any time-out owner
Thanks. Glad it is helping. When I first got my Time Out, I really struggled with the lifting of the hinged flooring. It was really ackward. Then I watched a video of a guy who had welded some brackets. I didn't want to do all the welding, so I found my own way of doing the brackets. Then "finally" Time Out picked up the idea as an add on. They should make it a standard part of the trailer. (Personal opinion)
Great idea. I see Time Out is selling a kit for this. I like your DIY set up better. Much cheaper also. Thanks for posting.
gRRRRRommets!!!
I stand corrected. I always forget the "R". :)
Got the same bulbs man thanks
Outstanding idea, I'll use ut on my Time-Out
Your video is still going strong. Very helpful watching you install before I started. Very much appreciated, thanks!
Thanks. I’ve appreciated others taking the time to show a step by step video on other installs. So I though I would do my own.
Love to move one building and rebuild it
Did you do a wiring video for the trailer hitch? This is a really good guide by the way. How do you like the Showcrome hitch?
Sorry, I didn’t. But as I recall it was a simple install. Love the hitch. Very solid.
Can you tell us the measurements between brackets please. Thank you
Very helpful thank you for this video. If you still have the instruction sheets, would it be possible to send them to me by email. (Maybe take a few pics). That would be appreciated.
Hmmm, I’d have to look if I still have them.
I am one of those guys who actually enjoy riding through Kansas. The state does offer some natural beauty and outside the cities, it’s peaceful. However, as you show, the roads can be long, straight, lonely and quite uneventful, but I personally get a lot of peace of mind traveling through there on occasion.
Thank you for taking the time to produce and share this. I am saving this video. I am thinking about purchasing a trailer to pull behind my 08.
thats awsome! i went there like a year or 2 ago
Thanks for the vid, going to do this on mine.
Why do people think it’s our responsibility to restore places so they can look at them?
Did it end up sturdy in the floor up a little better having those rods in there
i have a fat bike i like to put rack on top can you send a pick with the legs down your set up for your bike , Thanks Jay
I used 1/4-20 x 1 1/4 elevator bolts and just used a steel file to bring them down a bit. The elevator bolts really have a nice large flange to provide better support.
It was awesome to see your grandkids waving as we rode by. Two years in a row. Please tell them how much the riders loved seeing them saluting and waving the flag.
Love this idea . Doing this to mine . Does anyone know what kind of bike rack is mounted on the camper. And is there an installation video for that?
Here is a video on the install of the bike rack. ruclips.net/video/IIyQhd0D6No/видео.html

This little dude was standing in the same spot for the 2021 ride. Very cool.
He loves the men and women in blue… and he loves motorcycles, especially his grandpa’s.
@@bstone8111 Well tell him, and I assume his sister that they did an awesome job. We loved seeing them there.
So sad, such an iconic movie series. I still watch reruns today. You would think it would be reconditioned and stayed original.
That’s what I thought. It would be iconic to preserve the site.
Thank you posting. I finally got around to doing exactly what you posted. Only thing I changed was I used black silicon adhesive for sealing and thread locking. I hope it doesn't work loose with material compressing because I'm not getting nuts off without grinding. Thanks again
You can also use the pin to set your stands and jack them up.
Be aware the 2022 timeout has thicker wood and a 1” bolt will not go all the way through. It really needs a 1 1/2 bolt and to clear the rods it needs a 1/4” spacer between the trailer box and the L brackets.
What about a 2014 Timeout.
Instead of buying extra packets of the lock, just pick up some L Brackets and drill the one side out
Nice 👍
Love this idea! Plan on doing this to my timeout deluxe! Are there other videos on this fix for floor dropping while opening? I couldn’t find any. Thanks for posting this awesome repair on what I think is a serious concern for most timeout owners!
Thanks Mitch. Glad you like it. I actually got the idea from another TO owner, but his design required welding, and I developed this alternative to that. It has been a life saver for me with a tweaky bad back.
I was at a bike rally and seen a guy put 12-in RV jacks on top of his camper and it really stiffened up the floor think I'm going to do this with my timeout camper
Do you keep slides in place while using TO ? Or do you remove them after set-up?
I just leave them in after set up. It helps to keep the floor stable.
Love from DeKalb Mississippi USA 🇺🇸
Very Cool 😀👍
I love this 🙏🇮🇳
Hey, I just stumbled across your channel and subbed. I just bought my first Wing this past June and already put 5k miles on it. Its an 08 Comfort / NAV / Audio. I just installed the MadStad windshield on my bike a few weeks ago. I uploaded a video showing that off. How do you like yours? After riding Harley's for so long, I absolutely love the Wing. I'm 61 and was looking for comfort as I ease into retirement again. On a side point: I love that bag you have on the seat. You wouldn't happen a have a link would you? (Rob)
Hi Rob. I love my MadStad windwhield. I get almost zero wind buffeting on my helmet, which is nice to be able to hear my music and phone calls loud and clear. Also, doesn't wear you down as much. I'm 68 and still riding long and hard. I enjoy my solo rides cross-country. Just finished a 6,000 mile journey to New York and back. Here is the link to the manufacturer of my bag. It doesn't look like they have my model any more, but do have bags that are contoured to fit your back seat. Enjoy and be safe!
living the dream! nice rig
Thanks!
I am very interested in buying a camp trailer just like this one. I see you went across the country to church historic sites with your trailer. Can you comment how things went for you with trailer and camping? How it pulled? Have you done any two-up riding yet with the camper? BTW, I live in Ogden and would love to see your trailer before I buy one.
Hi Clem. My cross country trip was a great one. (About 6,000 miles) I only got caught in a couple of rain storms. The trailer is made by TimeOut in Indiana. Here is their website: www.timeouttrailers.org/ Last year they were about 3 to 6 months backlogged on orders, but I think they are caught up now. It pulled great. I can tell it is back there, and I lost about 5 mpg pulling it. I did notice with cross winds that it was more stable than without it. The set up and take down in the campgrounds was easy. I did some modifications to it to help with the lifting and taking down of the flooring panels. (I made a video on the mods. You can see the video on this channel) I'd be glad to have you come down to Sandy from Ogden, to set the trailer up for you and see it close up. We should wait until the weather warms up for that.
Here is the video clip on the mods for the flooring on the trailer: ruclips.net/video/AW2LPsh0sas/видео.html
@@motorcycleridesusa great. I will contact you once the weather improves to come down. I already bought and installed my hitch. I needed some "garage therapy" and a winter project.
Thank you for posting
