I know I sound overdramatic and that I am an absolute emotional mess, but please keep in mind that I’ve made myself very vulnerable by uploading here my first, raw reaction to devastating news. One month later, I still feel the same, just more internalized. I am not visibly suffering as much as I was back then, but the resignation has sorta made me numb and I can’t even cry anymore. I just feel very depressed and hopeless but also extremely numb and detached from reality. I am still fighting, I promise. Your support is probably the only thing that has saved me from this. Molly Åberg hi! Thank you, I can’t express with words how much this means to me. I saw your comment four weeks ago but felt too bad to reply, but here I am, a month later. I am trying so hard to move on. It still hurts just as much as it did when it first happened, I still am in so much pain and I still don’t think I’ll ever be able to heal from this. I guess I’m doing my best to accept that this is a wound that will keep bleeding forever, and it’s going to change me for the worse, and it’s going to impact my mental health for the worse forever, but it does not have to define me. I am more than just unwanted, forgotten, abandoned. I will not ever let anyone use me like this, hurt me like this. I suppose it’s a form of self care, so maybe it’s a good sign of me coping with it. I honestly wouldn’t call short hair a struggle, I would see it as liberating
it is VERY liberating, but there are also some downsides to it 😅😣 I wouldn't have thought until I cut mine short and realized that in the long run it can be annoying
