“Are you going off a script? You probably should.”
Man, that stung!
I heard this feedback from a friend eight episodes into The Ripple Effect Podcast, and my soul was obliterated. Self-doubt ate me up every time I hit record. I started overthinking every word before it came out of my mouth. As someone who just started threading the podcasting world, my infinitesimal confidence became nonexistent. It wasn’t the most pleasant feeling.
If I let those words live rent-free in my head, I wouldn’t be here talking (still no script, by the way) and pouring my heart out. Before I knew it, eight episodes became TEN SEASONS!
It’s a far cry from those grand success stories, but relistening to the first fe...

You’ve done inner work and are finally confident you’re showing up as your most authentic self, but what if you know someone is being inauthentic towards you? Oh no, the world just pulled the UNO reverse card on you. What to do? Watching someone fake it or make a story grander than real-life facts is like watching a theatrical play unfold. It’s like involuntarily moving towards a trap, not know...

Amazing podcast steve! Happy its season 10
🔥
Thank you for watching!
Great content, as always! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Wrong kind of Ripple.
This was so enjoyable to listen too!! Thank you Steve, for what you do, your contagious energy and love of life ... spreading beautiful ripples!! Let's go 2025!! Woohoo!!✨✨✨✨
Thanks for listening and being a part of this, my friend! 2025 is going to be amazing!
i love doing ripples
I love that you love doing them! What's the best Ripple you've created this month so far?
@@SteveHarperrippleon probably self improvement

1 sub away from 300 my fellow creme chese rippledog
Merry Christmas my friend!
Same to you. We'll Zoom in January!
Love this!! You're fabulous all the time Steve!! I needed to hear this...aka, picking myself apart in reference to our Podcast 😅😉
Oh I wish that were true but I have my moments. More than I care to admit. But it's a process and every single day I strive to get a little bit better. It's easy to sit on the video and share what people need to do but actually doing it is where most of us fail. We have to put in the work to get better and we have to want to get better for the right reasons. Not to impress others but to be proud of ourselves. It's a process - at least for me - to remember that last part especially.
wow
Love this, thank you Steve❤
W love this podcast pls on your new vid can you say 'goofy rippledog creme chese on a frog jardel' cos i subbed to you please anmd i liked
Wow!! Great job Steve!! Thank you!!❤️
Easy to interview amazing people like yourself.
I think you're doing a great job Steve! Just keep being you!!👍✨
AHh thank you my friend! I will do my best. Honestly, it's the only way I know how to be. :)
Hello, are you working with AEMG or PBN Podcasts? Making sure before I move Forward with setting up time to be on your podcast
Hey there! I have never heard of either of those companies so I would suggest not engaging at all with them!
Steve, are you working with a podcast network named AEMG or PBN Podcasts, doing podcasts? They are selling time with you. Is this real, or scam?
Hey there...I have never heard of either of those companies. Do not engage with them as they do not represent me.
I have a topic for our next call! Seriously, there are so few categories that we as adults can really put people into. It's easy to forget that there is a separate class outside of our professional lives of people we choose to associate with - separate from colleagues, acquaintances, neighbors or other people we are in more of a compulsory relationship with. You hit it on the head with intentionality, working clearly on a social relationship is one of those skills that needs exercise or we lose it...
I can't wait! And thank you my friend for watching.
Oops...we forgot to cover this in our last call.
@@SteveHarperrippleon true, but we were talking about some other pretty exciting stuff!
@@farspach No doubt!
You are so right, good advice!!
Ahh thank you for watching!
i love big oll smelly rippledogs
wheres the rippledog gone
I can bring him back! His agent has been a bear to deal with but glad to know he's in demand!
This is such an important topic, yet I've never heard anyone talk about it before. Everyone has uncomfortable endings somewhere in their past. Love when you say "That situation, as painful as, it was spring boarding me into something better." Great video!
OMG! I have a comment from the famous Shana Burg - the woman with an unbelievable new book! Thank you for watching! And thank you for this comment. It means a lot to me.
Interesting topic, Steve! Thank you for this great content
Thanks for watching my friend. Just trying to make great content like you! You inspire me!
You are so right, stepping away about resetting. I definitely needed to hear this today.
Thank you for watching my friend!
nice!
Thank you for watching! Hope you are having a fantastic day full of positive Ripples!
Nice
Thank you so much for watching.
Rooting for you!
Why thank you!
I mean... There is some common sense here. But I think you are missing out on the realities people face. Its not really sound advice, or even a sound metaphor. Its presumptive of opportunities while trivializing barriers which is, factually, the most common bias of people who succeed. Going to have this a D+. The will is there, but you didnt spend the time with the people who needed the pep talk, to hear their ideas, strategies and blah blah blah to understand the fundemental issues at play for people who are struggling. Frankly, you need to step out of the shower and start swimming in the bathtub.
I don't know your circumstances, and you probably don't know mine. I'm happy to have a conversation with you outside of comments about both. Let me assure you, I've worked with people from all walks of life. Many of them have lost everything and can not imagine changing their circumstances because the obstacles seem too great. So, there is absolutely no presumption about opportunities or the lack thereof. I appreciate your perspective and your willingness to share it. However, the time and effort you took to write your comment and conclude it with an intended insult misses the mark. I will say that if you want me to address something specific to you or someone you may have in mind when you view content like this, I am more than happy to give it a try. Perhaps I will hit the mark more closely for you and actually help you see that the only reason I do what I do is to help make the world (and the people in it) a little bit better. That's my goal to have a positive Ripple Effect out there in the world. But if you are down to chat, I am totally game to hear more of your thoughts and see how I can serve you (or yours) better. LMK. Have an awesome day and Ripple On!!!
@@SteveHarperrippleon Ah, you know what. I had just come from an argument when I wrote this. I feel my observation still stands, but I also owe an apology. I am sorry for my misplaced anger. I appreciate that you want to send out well meaning messages, but as someone who has a number of barriers and a considerable drive to achieve the presumptive nature of your advice struck me as hollow. People don't fail because they want to, they aren't in poor conditions because they want to be. The opportunity to belong to a group of people who are aligned with your interests, particularly ones who will better you, are difficult to find. Add in other problems people might face like disabilities, neurodiversity, discrimination, etc. Simply telling the person to jump in the right pool is akin to telling them the sky is the limit, even if you miss you land among the stars. A cold vacuum indeed. Blanket therapy is condescending to the people who need help. It's not going to help people who need specific information, the courage to face their limitations, or to ask for help. People don't need any more cat posters telling them to, "hang in there."
@@dps8629@dps8629 Hey, if you have barriers, I'm happy to talk to you about them and see where or if I can help. I promise no cat posters. Just to let you know, the video isn't a panacea, nor was it designed to be a one-size-fits-all kind of video. I get everyone has different perspectives and it's these perspectives that lend themselves to conversation and dialogue, much like we are having here. You never know why someone ends up in your life's path, but if you don't take the time to explore it, then you may be missing out on something really great. My D+ video might have cracked the door open just a tiny bit and led you here, but let's see if we both have what it takes to keep the door open or at least keep it from slamming shut. And thank you for the apology - though one wasn't necessary. It's okay to call it like you see it. That's what makes this thing called the Internet so great. But just know, I am not letting you off that easy and I am truly holding space to see if there's still yet a Ripple here to be created.
Great content! Finding time for self-care is so important, and this video touches on key points. To reach an even wider audience, consider optimizing the video title and description with targeted keywords and a more engaging format. Small changes can lead to big results in views, likes, and engagement! I'd be happy to help if you're looking to boost your video's visibility.
Thanks
Thank you for watching Andre!
This appeared in my recommendations randomly and the relatively short length coupled with the somewhat catchy title and a kind looking person in the thumbnail made me intrigued. I was really hoping for an interesting take on the statement from the title. It pains me that this turned out to be... trivial.
I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed. Curious in what regard you thought it was trivial? Did you take anything from it?
Amen brother
Thanks for watching sir! I owe you an email response on the other thing.
Amen
Thank you for watching Scott!
Yes, Steve, lad. This is true. God bless.
Thank you for watching! Same to you!
I dont want to relive watching this video.
Fair enough. But thank you for watching regardless.
Nicely done!
I wish i had a place like that looks nice
Thank you. Where do you record now? Honestly, until I got a little nutty, I was just recording in a corner office.
Jennifer ROCKS such an awesome woman I've been blessed to know several years!
Thank you for watching sir. Jennifer is amazing. I am so excited to see where this portion of her entrepreneurial journey takes her.

awww--thank you Steve! You made my day! I appreciate you!!
Great, video keep up the good work
Thank you sir! Much appreciated!
This is a great concept. Mark Bornstein of ON24 has said "There's a difference between interest and intent." It's so easy to be led astray by false approval.
