Kenneth Lochhead | "Post-Painterly Abstractions" | October-November 2024
Today we find ourselves amongst the works of celebrated Canadian painter, Kenneth Lochhead (1926 - 2006), specifically works featured in his current exhibition "Post-Painterly Abstractions". Co-Director Kyle Matuzewiski discusses the importance of this period in the artists career as an artist (mid-1960's) and how it shaped an era of abstraction in Canada.

    At the end: "Check that it's level." Wishful thinking! (If it's *not* level, it means you screwed up, even if only a little bit. And with this method, there's no way to compensate - you'd have to un-screw screwed-in hardware, and do over.

      Actually with angled D rings there is a little room for levelling after. You'd be absolutely right if the D rings were installed vertically.
