I don’t get why some experienced drivers have the need to voice out why others struggle to get on bays. We all started somewhere and simple videos like this are so helpful to the less experienced drivers. The lack of support at times is so unnecessary and this is why some new drivers don’t last once the licence is achieved. We need to help each other out and not be so negative when others struggle to get on to bays etc. I haven’t been driving long and everyday I am learning the schematics of how to get into places even if it means getting out the cab to look. I also get out and be an extra set of eyes when I see someone struggling. We aren’t all bad apples but we need to support each other more!

Explenation; Reading of one of the container cranes it says Peel Ports Liverpool, Judging by the red container cranes at the left and right sides you are probably at Liverpool 2 Container Terminal. While also judging the road markings you are probably parked there since the other places dont have such markings and visuals.

Given the wrong bay, sounds like where I work. One driver got put on a bay that was locked out because the bay door got crashed into and wouldn't open.

Better off going to goods in if they given you the wrong bay or an occupied bay rather than the shunter who likely has no idea why they've fucked it up. Its their job to sort it too rather than the shunter if they need a shunter to move a trailer they can instruct them too anyway. Either way we all get there in the end I just leave my problems with goods in if I have any.
